Candy from your childhood that they no longer make

For me its the chocolate cigarettes. I'm pretty sure the paper they were wrapped in made it look like the real thing. I think parents would have heart attacks after seeing kids with that candy now. Anyone remember those from about 20(?) years ago..

What do you miss?

Cadbury Fudge Bars. They may still make them, the only place I could every get them was in Canada.

Reese's Pieces. Okay, so I'm technically cheating since they still make them, but it is impossible for me to find them. They aren't at the grocery store in the candy aisle with the M&M's and Skittles anymore. They are so rare around here that my husband actually gave me a box of them the night he proposed:lmao:

Wow, I'm going back to the early '60's: candy lipstick, candy cigarettes, nickel nips (my fav - it was koolaid in little wax bottles that came in a six pack), candy necklaces, "dots" - little colored sugar dots on white paper - there are probably so many I cant remember!

Man, you guys need to plan a road trip to my place. I have a retro candy store 5 minutes from my home. I'm not sure if they have Bonkers but I'll take a look next time I'm there.

Bolded are still available, not sure if the flavors have changed though.

I miss the little burger bubble gum that came in a plastic burger box. I used the empty boxes to hold barbie shoes.

Marathon bars. Boy do I miss those. I'm sure my butt doesn't but I sure do!

Check the bins near the electronics section at Wal-Mart. My kids got some for Christmas.

I have seen both candy necklaces and dots at Cracker Barrel country stores. :teeth:

I LOVED Razzles and those ICE cube chocolate things...

If I recall you are in NH (on my phone so I can't tell) but if you are ever at the Steeplegate Mall check out the candy store there. You can get both of those there.

Our local candy shop sells chocolate and gum cigarettes--but not the hard white candysticks that I loved as a kid.
They also sell dots, razzles, resses pieces, and candy neckalces :goodvibes

I did love Astro pops as a kid and have not seen those around recently.

I loved those nickel nips too!!! Do the still make Mary Janes ? Those were good!
