"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2015 Thread - Rockin' Around the Cinderella Castle!

Just curious if everyone attending has a special holiday outfit they wear. This will be our first party and I want my kids to be festive.

We'll be taking Disney themed tshirts and 'ugly sweaterizing' them. For example, my boyfriend's sister likes Marie from Aristocats. So she'll get a regular Marie tshirt then we're having a pre-Disney holiday party and she'll put a santa hat and cotton balls and all sorts of garish holiday decorations on the tshirt.
 
My family and I went to MVMCP a few years ago and there was this "Toy Story Dance Party." My kids loved it!! I was wondering if this dance party is something that typically happens every year? My kids will be very disappointed if we buy tickets and this is not occurring this year. TIA!!

I still need to figure out my festive wear! DBF will be most likely wearing an ugly sweater. Not sure about me; I want to get a sequin skirt(red preferably) but so far there are no Christmas/festive-y stuff is out in stores.

I know....I'm going to check out Etsy or Pinterest to see what ideas they have.
 
I love those shirts.

I still can't decide if we should attend MVMCP on our arrival day of 11/20 or wait until the next one at 11/29. I would love some suggestions. Our plane lands in Orlando around 9 a.m. so I'm not really worried about flight delays.

You might not have to worry about flight delays, but think about this. For a flight that's landing at 9:00 am, that means you will be getting up quite early to make it. Do you think you would be able to make it until midnight on a day you've maybe been up since 4:00 am?

Love those ears! They were actually on the Disney store online last year, so I bought them so I could wear all season last year then I have them ready to go when I get there for the first party! I just need the outfit. Hoping not to have to make it myself, just because I'm already up to my eyeballs in craft projects for this trip. :scared:
