wow... so much info to read!! so i'm looking to book at Pop Century for sept/ oct, we are very flexible with our dates, tonight... or tomorrow whatever you consider it is if you don't sleep! haha From what im reading the room only discounts will go active then too right? my brother and i are both going and thinking of booking 2 rooms.. can i book 2 or does he need to book 1 and I book my own?
Our second option is a suite at AOA... which do you think is cheaper? I was thinking maybe we should book a Lion King suite because my nephew is obsessed!!
well looks like its going to be a long night, but have been waiting for this day to arrive!!! so excited!!! what time in the past has the offer gone active online? This is my first time booking!!

Thanks!!

Thanks so much for the info, I have been worrying a little about the bus service so it helps to know that you have had more than one good experience :)

We were at Pop last October during FD and never shared a bus with anyone. Our longest wait any day was 20 minutes leaving MK. Had great bus experience at Pop!

The suite would be a bit more than 2 standard rooms, but IMO, totally worth it!

Hi! I'm a long time lurker here but I am going to break out of my lurking bubble to ask a question from you, more seasoned travelers!

I'm dithering between shooting for dates starting Oct. 1st and dates starting Nov. 15th. My 6yoDD loves to swim but she is always freezing; will we be able to swim more than a little bit if we go in November? My daughter is my opposite and I would do almost anything to avoid being in Florida during Satan's Armpit season so I would very much like November to work out!
November is my favorite month to visit Disney. We went one year in October I found it very warm. November is perfect to me and my girls still swam. We are from Maine though! Ha

Yay! Finally caught up! So I know CBR vs POR has been discussed a lot but could ya'll help me pick? I keep going back and forth! It will be me, my husband, my oldest daughter (7), and my twin girls (2). We will be celebrating my twins 2nd birthday while there on Sept 30-Oct 4! It's a shorter trip than normal for us but really looking for the most fun resort! We spend most of our time at MK and usually stay out late (at Mk, HS or downtown disney) so fast buses and short walks are best. We also really enjoy the 'nostalgic, Disney magic kiddie' themes that value resorts have so which of the two (POR or CBR) has more of a family feel? Which resort would you choose?

Since we our looking to book POR I REALLY think you should go for CBR.:sunny:

We always go for Thanksgiving and my kids are constantly in the pool. We even did Blizzard beach one day. The nights do get cool but during the day it is perfect for the pool.

I know this has been asked a bzillion times, but can I make a new reservation on my phone? I know not on the MDE app.

Debating between POR and CBR too! I didn't think that POR would be included in FD, so I assumed we'd stay at CBR. Now I'm torn...

just chatted with a CM and was told I can book all three room reservations on my one MDE account. Somewhere back on the first thread someone said you could only do two. Does anyone have any experience with this?

If I have another family linked on my mde account, can I apply the discount for them?

I can't really say which has more of a family feel as we have only stayed at POR but I can say we want to try CBR this year because we will have a 14 month old (and 3, 5, and 6 yo) and the idea of the zero entry pool at CBR sounds appealing, along with the pirate themed splash play area! POR does not have a zero entry pool and the splash play area is at FQ. You have a tough choice though because POR has that nice boat ride to Disney springs!
