September 23-30, 2017 Disney Fantasy: Tortola/St.Thomas/CC

We have done dinner at Palo but not brunch, although, every review I have read has always raved of the wonderful brunches they have. I am thinking of booking our brunch at Palo when the online check in opens up. We are also thinking of going to Remy... for my cruise vets, is it worth it?

I would be more than happy to set up the FE for this cruise if you all would like. I set up a latecomers group for our first cruise, so I would not mind doing it again. It is so much fun (for kids and adults) when you get to your stateroom and there are goodies waiting for you!!!

If anyone is interested in joining just send me a private message (PM) (you need at least ten posts on the message boards in order to be able to send a PM) with your stateroom info and the names of everyone who wants to participate. For our last cruise the person in charge asked for name, age, and favorite character. Give as much or as little info as you would like =)

Hope to hear from you all soon!
429 days to go!

We enjoyed Remy and have reservations there again for our 9/5 cruise. Some people don't think it's worth the money but most give it a thumbs up

We did Palo Brunch one our two previous cruises on the wonder and enjoyed it. We will likely do it on the fantasy next year. I really want to try Remy too.

If you liked Palo, you should try Remy. It's a step up

We are defiantly planning for it... But two nights out of a 7 nt cruise for adult only dining may be too much for us. We did two Palo dinners on our 14 nt, and did the wine pairing for one of our dinners. It was excellent. I believe Remy has a wine pairing meal as well, but I heard it's like $100 per person...

Just booked this cruise for myself and two friends! It's only my second Disney cruise, but they've never been on a cruise so I'm excited to share everything with them. Biggest motivation was the CC5K for myself and one of my friends. Most expensive 5K I'll ever run :rotfl:

Yikes, I haven't posted here in a while!

So happy to have my pre-cruise and post cruise resort booked. Both stays are only for one night but those nights will be at Pop Century! :mickeyjum I've started working on my magic band color selections.

Hi Everyone. Cathie and I just returned from a 4 night Dream cruise and had a wonderful time. Our Cruise Meets thread was very active and we got to know our fellow cruisers very well before getting on the ship. I hope we can do the same on this thread. We're off to a great start! Our Cruise Meets thread ended up with 1,100 posts before leaving the port!

One of the things that our group did was a FE exchange. I'm sure most/all of the experienced cruisers know about this but it was the first one that Cathie and I did in all of our cruises. It was allot of fun. I would like to know if this group is interested in doing one? I propose that we do an adult FE Exchange as there probably isn't allot of kids on this cruise (but I could be wrong about that). More on this later.

Another thing our group did was to exchange a short Bio on ourselves. Where we came from, who we are, who was in our party, interests, etc. This was a great tool to get to know everyone.

Our group also organized a "meet and greet" breakfast on the second day of the cruise where everyone meets each other in person. It was awesome! Everybody knew each other from the thread so it was "putting a face to a name". After that, we recognized each other throughout the cruise which was great.

Cathie and I have met many wonderful people on our cruises, some of which we meet at WDW and cruise with to this day. It is one of the great things about cruising, We hope to meet new friends on this cruise too.

Now that we've returned from our 2016 cruise, I can turn my attention toward the September 23, 2017 cruise thread. Cathie and I are happy to organize these activities.

Thanks and only 376 days until we leave !!!!!!
