OFFICIAL NOVEMBER 2017 THREAD

I think that may be the way to go as the CRT reservation is more important to me than the MVMCP. My DD will be 6yrs and 4yrs when we go and we would take a midday break prior to returning to the park. I think the MVMCP may be something to do on our next trip as I really want to get them both to CRT at this age and don't have the ambition to spend the extra 400 on the party. Hope you enjoy your upcoming trip! We're going Nov 22nd - Dec 2nd!
It's expensive for sure! You'll love CRT! I took my daughter there last year to celebrate her 5th birthday and she had so much fun. We're not doing it this trip because well, redirecting funds to the MVMCP and we want to do EMM while we are there too. My kids will be 6 (well a week shy on this trip) and 4 too, and the only way that i think they will be able to handle the MVMCP is with no parks the day before and the day after. I hope you have so much fun (We're there November 25-29; just a short trip this time as we did a week last December!)

Personally I feel like you have a lot of park hopping with little ones. You have yourselves in MK 4 separate days...why not do 2 full days there plus the party? Same thing with Epcot, rather than stopping in on 2 separate days I would just spend one day there (even if not a full day). I realize everyone likes to tour differently, but we did not like to park hop when our kids were young. It just felt like too much time wasted on traveling and a lot of work with strollers on the monorail, buses, etc. My plans would be more like this:

Sat 11/25 - arrival
Sun 11/26 - MK
Mon 11/27 - Epcot
Tues 11/28 - pool/rest day, MVMCP
Wed 11/29 - HS (later start after being out late night before)
Thurs 11/30 - AK
Fri 12/1 - MK
Sat 12/2

I thought about that with the park hopping but was thinking that if we walk/boat/monorail we at least would not have to fold the stroller ha ha ha..I like the idea of doing Epcot on Monday, it would likely be much less crowded....

We are going to do MVMCP with our 2 & 5 but same deal - no parks the day of the party and not planning on anything before noon on the day after!

Did you do EMM last year? If so, how was it?

Need a little advice. I want to add a Universal Studios day, but I already bought my daughter's 10 day ticket (I have an AP). Do I give up a rest day, skip a Disney day, or pass on US? I really want to visit HP again, but my daughter isn't a HP fan. However I know she would enjoy many of the other rides. For reference she'll be turning 8 on this trip, never been to DW, only DL.

We did not, but I was in a planning group for that trip and pretty much everyone else did and loved it. Plus, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was hands down the favorite ride for my children. We rode it a lot last time because we had 3 MK days and I booked fast passes for it each day, plus we had a problem at our hotel and the front desk gave me 3 anytime fast passes at the Magic Kingdom to make up for it, which were all redirected to Seven Dwarfs. So I see EMM as a way to cure the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train itch since we'll only have one MK Day this time plus the MVMCP.

I've never been to US. Is 1 day enough to do what you want to do there? The difference in ticket price for a 9 day to a 10 day isn't that much so it's not like you're eating a big cost since it's only her ticket.

My plans will most likely change after our July trip. If we do Rivers of Lights in July, we may not want to do it in November. And if we do HEA that would help a lot for our MK day since there are so many early MK closures during our week. Also I'm leaving some of our nights open to either park hop or hang at the resort.

My kids loved that ride too!

I'm a little sad, i made mine Tuesday in less than 10 minutes, tweaked a few times throughout the day but I'm done. It was fun and exciting.....I want to make more!!!!!!

Good luck and have fun!!
Make back-up ones for the inevitability of plans being tweaked, LOL!

Thanks for chiming in! One day would be sufficient for what I wanted to accomplish, but I ultimately decided against it. The cost for one day for two of us was more than 10 days at Disney. I'm sure I could find things to do with that money. Lol!!

Dec 2 - Ohana breakfast / ((Our Candlelight Processional dinner isn't available yet))

Dec 4 - Hollywood & Vine breakfast / 50's Prime Time dinner

My TP reservation finder went off at 6:10 this morning and I snagged an earlier Mama Melrose reservation. Love how quickly that sorted itself out. Now to add some backup ADR's in case schedule changes....

Currently my family of 6 is booked for a family suite at AoA (my parents, myself & 3 kids). NOW my parents decide they may want to have different rooms. I have been checking online EVERY day for Little Mermaid rooms to pop up but nothing. Just about nothing is popping up except AS Music, POR Royal or Deluxe. From everything I've seen online the week we are going is supposed to be light crowds (Nov 11-19)... should I expect more rooms to be released? If so is there some kind of rule of thumb of when they release them?

Only two ADRs this trip, Liberty Tree on Dec 1 (fueling up for MVMCP that night!), and 'Ohana breakfast before we leave Dec 3. Now, if they'll just go ahead and announce the CP narrators early, that would be very helpful.
:thumbsup2

Feel free to find me a Garden Grill 8 am for 11/27! ;-)

I'm sure you'll find plenty to do with that money. lol I'm thinking about booking a dessert party. DH usually shoots me down though. I really want to do the Star Wars one.

People may cancel and more options may open up.

I have not done a dessert party at DW, but we did one last year at DL and it was well worth it. While the food wasn't amazing, having a seat, and our location made it money well spent.

I am so excited. I was able to talk my 73 y/o grandmother into coming with us for our November trip!! She is my role model, the best grandmother ever and my best friend. My dad was a single father and she helped raise me and she retired from her middle school cafeteria job once I had kids to watch them instead of sending them to daycare. 3 boys later she is still watching them and I am so happy I will get to experience this with her and so will my kids!! This will be a trip they will remember for their whole lives! Shout out to all the grandmas out there! Y'all are the best!!
