I Hate Gaston

My DH tried on two different trips to challenge Gaston, and he was not interested at all. He also just put his biceps in front of my DH's face. If it makes the OP feel better, it might be that he saw that you were more muscular than him, and he didn't want to be put to shame! It is Gaston after all - he is his own biggest fan!

Most characters have certain poses they do. This seems to be one of his and as much as I'd love to see myself in a photo with him, it's what he does. It's his way of having the guy there, but "censoring" him out so it's just him and the lady.

I honestly just hate Gaston in general, so I feel your pain with this interaction. As a woman, he's honestly the scariest villain to me, because he's not even that far off from a large portion of men that exist in the real world. He treats women like property and it makes me sick.

Whew. Okay, I just watched a bazillion Gaston M&G videos. He's on my list now. I will say this about the original post: The flexing and posing with Gaston? About every third guest in line tries to do that with him and he shuts them all down, unless they are very little children. I saw men, women, teenagers, even some tweens try it and he'd push down their arms and say "I'll do the flexing here" or similar. So don't hate. He's better than you, just ask him.

Gaston also asked my cute and athletic teen daughter in a tank top to flex with him. She loved it!

Sometimes I can watch Gaston for an hour based on how funny they are. While getting a picture of you 2 flexing should have been accommodated him being 'all over' your girlfriend I'm sure is a stretch. To quote Gaston from a few weeks ago "I always tell kids whats on the inside doesn't matter, you can't see it! All that matters is whats on the outside"

Don't forget Lady Tremaine and Lady Gothel (besides the magical flower). The scariest villains are the ones without magic, the ones you might actually be able to meet in real life. I never thought Maleficent or Jafar were scary, to me they were really fairytale creatures. But Madame Medusa from The Rescuers... She scared me to death! The psychological power they had over their victims, that is real.

I respectfully disagree. I think he gets close to the line from time to time, but I've never seen him cross it either in person or in youtube videos. If you are the kind of person who takes things a little too seriously, or you don't like this type of entertainment, don't meet with him.

Can we all just relax a little more and quit looking to be offended by anything a little out of our comfort zone?!

Wow! She has really grown up quite a bit since the last time I saw her photo, Robin. Your DD has always been a beautiful girl, and I have enjoyed watching her grow up in photos throughout the years.
