Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Stayed at AKL - Concierge (through DVC points) from May 13 - 16, 2017.

NO bottled water in the fridge or elsewhere, but they had bottled chocolate milk, white milk in cartons, bottled apple juice, cans of Coke products for soft drinks and yogurt in the fridge.

Does anyone know if I can book the nighttime safari at Animal Kingdom Lodge through DSS?

Hmmm.... I'm not qualified to answer your question AT ALL but I 'thought' that they don't offer that nighttime deal at AKL anymore? I remember that being a popular thing for awhile but I think it went away? I could be wrong though, so take that with a grain of salt.

Anyone else happen to know?

Not even 2 weeks since we left, and I'm definitely feeling the post-Disney depression. We really splurged on this trip, so it may be a while before I can book another one.

I don't know if we're talking about the Wanyama Safari (includes a meal) or the Starlight Safari, but both appear to still be going on. The Events and Tours page still shows Starlight Safaris scheduled throughout the next 180 days, and Wanyama is still listed on the Dining page. I'd guess that DSS could help book either of these - it's worth asking, at least!

I was talking about the Starlight Safari, didn't realize there were different ones! I'll shoot DSS an e-mail and ask them, I mean I don't mind calling the reservation page on the Disney site, but if I can just do it through DSS I'd prefer that.

I also want to thank everyone in here for all the advice and reports! This is our first time staying CL after 20+ trips and you've all been a great help. Last year was our first year doing Deluxe (can't go back from that now) and I'm afraid after this trip I might be CL forever going forward lol

Oh wow, no water We are headed to AKL next month. We'll def be needing some water in the July heat. I had thought about asking here, but just assumed thr CL lounge would have bottled water. I was looking forward to not bringing any groceries at all. Guess we'll bring a case of water.

If you bring refillable bottles/containers, there is a dispenser full of filtered ice water in the CL lounge. The CL staff might give you some bottled water if you ask, but I don't know for sure - I didn't ask since I had a refillable bottle of my own.

We've stayed AKL club level twice and neither time did they have bottled water. We were there last summer and although they kept offering us beer and wine, no bottled water. We asked if they had bottles in the back. They did not. But they do have a large water dispenser, and we filled to-go cups with that.

My family is staying BWI CL in august. We have only stayed CL at WL about 5 years ago. WL is so fantastic I hope we are not disappointed with BWI CL. How are the food offerings?

We love WL CL and while we haven't stayed BWI CL, I am always reading great things about it. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Have a great trip .

We were at Wilderness Lodge Club last week. We did on-line check-in, they texted us our room number while we were on I-4, and when we got into the elevator a cast member got on with us and said, "you must be the Colagirl party - I was coming to greet you." They did not provide a number for help while we were in the parks, but we didn't ask that either. And, yes, there was a huge chocolate block in the room along with some special pins as a "pardon our dust" for the construction - the impact of which was so minimal I wouldn't have expected/needed that.

I am going in Sept to celebrate my 40th with my sister (oh yeah and we are bringing our families for some reason tehehe).

Thank you I am really looking forward to the Beach Club. We have never had enough time in Epcot to venture over to the Boardwalk area, so it will be new to us. We arrive at about noon on Saturday so we can check everything out. We'll go to Epcot that evening to use our Fastpasses. We always end up at the MK resorts because that is where DH & DD like to spend most of our time, so this is a super nice opportunity to try something different.

I guess anything is possible but I've stayed in AKL CL several times over the past 5 years and not once have they had bottled water. Not all CL's have it and for awhile no one did. As for the night time safari, yes they do that. The one they discontinued was the sunrise safari.

The gift shop downstairs has bottled water for about $6 a case. Although you would think that CL would have some, if they do not we don't find it to be a a big deal to pop downstairs and buy a case. We do this often to have it in our room when we want it - it's just easier than asking CM's to bring it out from the back. But we drink a lot of water! LOL!

I wonder why they object so much to providing water when they have everything else there on a regular basis.

Does anyone know if YC CL has bottled water available? I stayed at BWI CL in April and while bottled water wasn't out, all you had to do was ask and they would give you as many as you wanted. We always took several bottles to take to the parks with us. Even saw a family checking in where they gave them a case!

I assumed it would be the same at YC, but now seeing not all have it a available I'm not so sure. Has anyone been lately?

We drive, so bringing a case isn't a huge deal. But I agree, with everything that's provided I assumed water was a given.

We checked in last night at the Contemporary. Got our only request for room location so that was good. Club level was closed when we arrived but we were able to get some sodas from the fridge in the lounge.
Room is nice and clean. Can't say much for the view as it is super foggy this morning but looks like a really nice one! Only negative I can say so far is the cast member who checked us in was terrible. I think he may have been sleeping with his eyes closed !! No personality or enthusiasm. It was a little disappointing to arrive after a long day and not get that warm Disney welcome we usually receive. Hopefully the club level staff will make up for it today. Feel free to ask any questions.

Definitely no bottled water at AKL. They also empty the fridge on the dot of 10pm every evening. We found this odd as we were unable to get a can of soda after returning from the parks. CR, SL and RPC always leave the fridges full as they have open lounges like AKL.
