In your opinion what is the most overrated thing in WDW?

For us it's SDMT. We'll do it once if we can grap a FP.

I also don't understand the attraction of Dole Whips and Turkey Legs. But each to their own :)

FEA.

I had a FP for it, but it was on the day that Disney closed for Hurricane Matthew - October 2016. I had to switch around our days, and of course, there wasn't a Frozen FP for the day we switched to. So, we hopped in line around 8:40 pm (Epcot closing at 9 pm). We waited about 45 minutes in the most boring line ever, it just snailed through the round room. And then we did the ride. Oy vey, it was less interesting than I remember Maelstrom being. Probably the biggest waste of time we've had at WDW!

Ugh really?

We have a FP for FEA for our next trip but I was thinking of dropping it since I have no desire to go to Epcot anyway

Because it's a discussion board, and there have been TONS of these threads over the years - honest response.
Ok. I've seen some of those myself. I pass the new ones if I've done them enough in the past. Not this particular one, I've missed them in the past I supposed.

I am with you on the Dole Whips and Turkey Legs.. not a fan but SDMT.. a must ride.. hopefully early standby and a FP later in the day! ;)

So you haven't done it at all? I hesitate to suggest someone pass something based solely on reviews of others but if you are going to Epcot only to do FEA then maybe that's different. I am not sure I'd ever trouble to drag myself to go to a park just to do 1 ride and nothing else.

Amen. not to mention the walk from the front gate to Norway..... my feet hurt just thinking about that morning dash for ADRs at Askerus..

I never gave my answer... American Adventure.

Incredibly boring, awful song, and I don't want to hear about how great America is for a half hour... especially these days.

I would love to see them tear it down and put another country there instead.

Coming from a family of immigrants I wholeheartedly disagree. But because you live in America you can feel free to say negative things about the country without fear of harm to you or your family.

Because you live in this prosperous land you can afford to take many vacations to Disney spending thousands of dollars on tickets and lodging not to mention breakfast buffets that cost $50 a person.

In America you have so much extra leisure time that you can spend hours a day on your iPhone posting on discussion boards about overrated attractions. These same iPhones that people in third world countries assemble for $300 a month working 11 hour days.

So I will visit the America attraction with pride when I visit Epcot this winter and thank the Lord every day that this land is now my home!

It could be a ride, restaurant, snack, show, event, resort... anything!

What is your one ultimate I-just-don't-get-it in all of Walt Disney World??

Illuminations. I've watched it three times and just don't get people's fascination with it.

Funnily enough this is literally the only fireworks show I care about. Saw Wishes maybe once and don't remember it at all. I'm staying at the Poly this upcoming trip and I still plan on devoting exactly zero minutes to watching HEA. But Illuminations? Can't miss that!

Be Our Guest dinner and lunch and please don't ban me for this: the fireworks in Magic Kingdom. Haven't see HEA yet, but I wasn't impressed by Wishes or Hallowishes. Never understood why people like this so much.

You probably hate puppies too.

Is this what you see in the mirror?

I don't really get the love for the jungle cruise. A lot of the time the cast member seems bored out of their mind and not into at all. The jokes have a chuckle the first time, but I'm never craving to go back on the Jungle Cruise. The only exception would be at night, I like the spooky atmosphere the darkness brings with it.
