For those of you out west: do you think that the Safeway and Sobeys offers count as two different partners? It feels confusing because: the stores are owned by the same company, they share a flyer, the megamiles offers are identical, but there is one coupon for Safeway and one for Sobeys. Plus Safeway and Sobeys Liquor Stores share a single coupon, as do the Safeway and Sobeys Pharmacies. Hmm

Yay! I think I have 6 offers I can use pretty easily. Sobeys. Maybe Sobeys Urban Fresh. Rexall. Shell. BMO MasterCard. Will just have to order Coco and something else on Amazon with 2 transactions to get the AirMilesShops one too.

Yes - if you go on the mega miles site, you can save your offers and then it lines each of them at the top in the blocks to make your five. When you put in Safeways and Sobeys and Safeways/Sobeys Pharmacy it allows them as 3. I tried it with both Shell coupons and it only counted them as 1 in the top box. So I'm guessing going by that then yes, Safeway and Sobeys and even their pharmacies are considered different sponsors.

Sobeys and Sobeys Pharmacy are only counting as 1 for me in Ontario. They are counting as two in Manitoba....so Ontario peeps need to be careful there.


Wouldn't it be lovely if those little offers boxes filled up when you actually used the coupon so that you knew for sure that you were getting that offer???!!!

In all seriousness, I see five offers for sure. I don’t think I will need to spend too much at all. One bottle of wine, travelhub, hbc rewards conversion, shell, and Sobey’s gift card. Shell is where we get our gas anyway, and I’ll use the Sobey’s gift card at Freshco for better prices.

This plan should work for all three cards (dd20, mine, dh’s) but I may tweak it a little.

Well I know I can do 3 (Shell, Sobeys $10 one & children's place) of them, and maybe two more (hotel & maybe foodland? or airmiles shop?). I am not sure I can spend extra money over my budget these next few weeks. I wish there was a Metro offer! And maybe I can talk my mom into using my card at Foodland when she shops for Easter. It looks like I will be booking my one night hotel pre cruise through the airmiles hub, it seems to be about the same price as expedia, though they have fewer hotels maybe? Any way! Fingers crossed.

One thing to note from the General terms and conditions.

Limit of one (1) Bonus Offer per Collector Number

It was uncertain if multiple use of a coupon would be possible. This rules that out. I don't know what this means for the Sobeys GC purchase. They limit you to 4 on the coupon so if you purchase 4 would you get 600AM? But if you purchase 2 in one transaction and then 2 in another transaction (same card #) would you only get 300AM?

So when they say bonus offer they mean the 650 or 1225 points. So you can only get that bonus once per card. But at the coupon level they have their own rules. So you can’t do five partners twice and get the big bonus twice.
