Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Have a great trip!
Would love to see what the evening food offering is like now, comparing to what you have shared with us before!!

I’d say substantially similar, although the types of small dish apps are kind of different. Same menu and flavor style though.

Something new to me... the Hawaiian rolls there on the bottom. A-maz-ing.

Hard to see but that top one is sea salt butter. Smooth and creamy. Goes great with those rolls!

If you are talking about the ones you pay for then it's no problem. That's 30 days before anyone else can book (other than the very limited CL guests doing it) PP didn't mention they were the ones you pay for. Since they mentioned it was inconvenient to get up and do it, I just assumed it was the normal 60 day FP

Yeah. Sadly, we’ve only got two full park days and two half days, and one of the half days is MNSSHP. There’s just no way I can fit the club level paid FP into the schedule.

Can anyone tell me when the magic kingdom opens at 7am the week between Christmas and new year does the Polynesian club lounge open at 6am to allow guests to have breakfast before going to the park?

I can't help with your MK question, but the lounge does not open any earlier to coincide with early park openings, so you wouldn't be able to get breakfast until it officially opens (which I think is 7am).

Thank you so much for all the replies- I went ahead and booked garden view at Poly (second cheapest option of all club rooms available).

Even though the lounge in the Hawaii building looks absolutely amazing, we would prefer to spend a little less. In the meantime I will keep checking for other room options and cross my fingers for AP discounts!

Definitely keep checking as you never know if/when something else might become available. In the meantime, happy planning :goodvibes.

Does anyone have any insight about why there isn’t any availability for club level rooms at AKL in May/June 2019. We stay every year and typically do not book our stay until August. I’m looking now and all that is available is non club level rooms or club level suites.

I have been running into the same issue. I've been trying to price AKL CL for different dates next year and have had a hard time finding availability (other than non-CL or suites) for any dates I've tried.

Then honest opinion, no way should you let them wait till 9:00 to book your FP. Odds are going to be very low they'll get either FP on day 1 or 2. Maybe they'll strike gold with 1, late day. Then that will tie you up getting no more. If just face that I have suck it up and get up early that day.

It never fails that I book ours on a weekend so end up getting up much earlier than usual so I know how it is

Going the 13-20. Our anniversary is the 18th. Got Southwest for only $99 each way too! I am so happy. It is our 47th anniversary and can't think of a better place to celebrate.

That’s awesome! We’ll be there earlier in February so we’ll miss each other this time.

CL comparison between AKL and WL:

1) Lounge - WL takes this: Your in your own world and there's a lot of space, always empty tables, nice area, separate room for food. Watch MK fireworks from lounge deck, now that's cool.

2) Food - both have fabulous hot dishes though WL focused more on fish. So, appetizer time, they seemed to have more, BUT, AKL wins snacks and desserts hands down, - my son is missing AKLs Krispy treats, and WL has continually the same, though good. And they do have the trail mix baggie thing going on.

3) CMs-. WL has this in the bag. These people are super nice - Everywhere on the property.

4) Resort beauty and interestingness - (yes, I did just invent a word) - .AKL wins with all of the cool lobby exhibits like the big mask they make, animals, etc.,

5) Busses - Better service at AKL. Have waited 25 and 30 min. In hot DHS and Epcot to get back to WL, and although they don't always share, they sometimes do with contemporary or ft.wilderness.

6) Gift shop- AKL cause it really is one of the best gift shops, not much at WL, seems like a missed opportunity there.

7) Housekeeping and rooms- WL easy. There there for whatever you need, your in your own CL bubble, cool elevator down the hall to the QS. Because your right with them, there always trying to do turndown service or if you don't want it, give you ghiardelli chocolates, lol.

8) boat to MK or eating at CR or monorail resort at WL.

Bottom line they are both good in their own way, but I give WL the edge, especially can't believe how great the service is here.

But I think next time BWI cause you've got to try them all?!

Yeah. My problem is that I’m away on a camping trip when I should be sitting in front of my computer booking FastPasses. :-) Not sure how my cell reception will be. DH is thinking we should just go with the club level paid FP option, even if it means that on the third day we don’t use all of our regular FP. Our flight home is at 6:30pm, so we could leave as late as 3:30 or 4pm if we Uber it instead of DME.

With the club level FP, are you guaranteed to get all your choices if you’re booking them as early as possible?

47 as in Forty- seven? :tigger:

Early Congrats! Hope you have a wonderful celebration!
Yes, it is Forty-seven! I cannot believe it either. Jim has promised me the Steeplechase Suite for our 50th in 2022. I have found out I can book it 499 days in advance. I don’t get a cast discount on that, but we have always said if we reach 50 years we are going BIG!
