I got an email reply yesterday with the same offer. If I can use paypal, then I'd get 11.5% using my Chase Freedom. Trying to decide.

Keep in mind that the category bonus has a cap and you have to buy at least 5k of them. Assuming you literally don't have any other dollars towards the cap, you should be fine, but otherwise, you will have a portion that isn't 11.5%

Ok so I heard back from the B2B area at BJs... On Disney Gift Cards they can do $93.5 for a $100 if bought in bulk over 5k. This is only 6.5% as compared to their special they ran last year...

Do you think this deal can be purchased through their online store too, I wonder?

Yes, I'm aware the 5x is only on $1500 in spend in that category. If I go for this, I'll use the rest of the spend to reach an MSR on another card.

I was looking to cash out my Top Cash balance and take advantage of the bonus cash with the gift cards. The best option is a Visa Ecard, but I have never had luck using them on line - is there a trick to it? The next best option is a target e gift card bu you can't us that to buy a DGC can you?

Has anyone had success using Happy Guy card at Home Depot to buy DGC in greater Boston area?

I am happy to report I got this to work. Bought $100 Happy Guy card for 10% off at Shaw's and purchased single $100 DGC at Home Depot using self checkout. The only hitch, if you can call it that, was register said that person working self checkouts needed to check my identification. She came over, I showed her my license and it rang through. I think I am now going to buy a $1,000 card to purchase two $500 DGCs. I definitely put this in the minimum hassle category for an 11.8% discount including 2% (on $90) from credit card.

I have “25% off” my next grocery order at Shaw's (Albertson's) in the Just for You site. It has a list of exclusions and doesn't seem to say gift cards. It specifically says Visa/MC gift cards are excluded and fuel gift cards. But I didn't see gift cards in general (e.g., a Disney gift card).
Has anyone tried redeeming an offer like this for a Disney gift card (or many Disney gift cards?)

I contacted the second individual and got the same offer. I have contacted a couple of other times in the last 4 months, this was the first time I got an offer.
