What is still hard to find?

Dh was out yesterday. He needs supplies for some of his workers for a project. 11 stores later and no wipes or liquid soap. He did get some kind of spray.
Not what he really wanted.

BIKES!!!
Bikes are hard to find right now! I'm a teacher, and I had no time to ride at all over the last 10 weeks, but school ended, and I want to ride now. I cannot find a bike to buy!

I've called local bike shops, searched online. I used to have a Trek Multitrack bike that my DS left in the woods when he was in high school. I loved that bike. I've been looking for a Trek FX 7.whatever in my size for 3 weeks now. I've bid on a few on ebay that will ship, and but I lost. I've been searching Craig's List, Let Go, FB Marketplace. I've seen a couple 10 day listings on Craig's List, but the sellers never got back to me, so I think they got sold before I saw them.

I saw one post yesterday and contacted the seller within an hour of the posting. I'm supposed to go look at it this afternoon. It is exactly the model and size I want - FX 7.1, 17.5 inch frame. But it's a 2011. The seller says it hasn't been ridden in 3 years, so if that's true, it only has 6 years of use. The price is a little high at $275. The 2014 and 2016 I missed out on earlier were $150. I checked bicycle blue book, and they priced it at around $150. I'd be willing to go up to $200 due to bike scarcity/supply and demand. I figure I can negotiate better in person with cash in hand. Wish me luck!

I went to Walmart yesterday and they had hardly and hamburger buns and NO hot dog buns!

I scored toilet paper and 3 hand sanitizers yesterday. Still no wipes, but I make my own. I hadn’t seen tp and sanitizer for weeks, so I scooped up what I could yesterday because I had to replenish for my hurricane/emergency supplies.

I noticed this too...

We wanted to buy a kiddie pool and they were out of every single one. The walmart lady said even the $500 ones are gone in 30 mins.
We drove to four stores then found one last blow up one at big lots for $27. It has hidden behind some other items

The only hand sanitizer i can find is the kind that smells like cheap vodka... and it was $4 for a small bottle. I guess the days of the $1 kind are long gone.

Went to our local grocery yesterday to get a bag of granulated sugar for DW. In the entire sugar section they had 4 4 lb bags and 1 10 lb bag. They had more packs of toilet paper than they did bags of sugar.

It took me about 3 weeks' worth of grocery visits to finally get her a bag of all-purpose flour.

3 months ago I never would've thought flour and sugar would be the hardest things to get.

Went to Target today. I scored one container of Target disinfectant wipes and one container of vinegar. Not sure why vinegar is hard to find, but whatever. Oh, and one can of Lysol spray that does not smell like fake flowers so I won't sneeze for hours after DH sprays it all over the house.

Dish soap has been hard to find but was able to get a bottle of the new Dawn spray.

I can't find Clorox bleach anywhere. I was going to make our own wipes but can't find it.

We use a lot of vinegar its a natural disinfectant and its cheap....
I found ( clean linen) lysol today for the first time in 3 months.
I have the best luck finding things at walmart at 7am when they open.

Hand sanitizer is pretty much available where I live (Va) but we still have shortages of toilet paper, paper towels, bleach wipes, bleach, and bread, depending on where you shop. Target has been out of bikes for weeks, and there are no pools to be found.

Whats up with all this stinky and expensive hand sanitizer lately?..
And gone is the 1.00 kind who knows if it will ever be back
I was spraying hand sanitizer on the kids that smells like cheap vodka

I was looking at Walmart for bubble type toys.
They were completely wiped out of summer toys and bikes.
I snagged the last bottle of bubbles but not much else.

It's the stuff that the factories that used to make drinking alcohol are producing. We have one of those, and I really hate it. I think it came from a tequila factory Thankfully the pure alcohol smell only lasts a short while.

We've encountered a new shortage lately: 1% milk. Not any other kind, just the 1%, and only in the past 3 weeks. There is only one supermarket chain in the area that consistently has it in stock lately; everywhere else that used to have it never does.

Canned fruit!! Seriously - All I wanted was canned pineapple or peaches. Went last week and the shelves were completely bare. Went back yesterday and they had some, but were rationing “2 cans of canned fruit per customer”.
