Park reservations to start on June 22nd

Does anyone think this is like trying to get a fast pass and I need to be online at 4AM west coast time to get my preferred parks? Potentially the system will be filled with fifteen months of visitors instead of just those at the 60 day mark . Sounds like a big demand on the system.

Well unless they sort out putting my booking on my MDE I won’t be in the early scrum!

I actually think as time goes on capacity will increase so more tickets will be added. I even still think They won’t release all dates to next September in 1 go.

I agree. At least in a week's time, most people will hopefully have some certainty on parks and reservations x

I've just been thinking , a dangerous pastime I know, if they are doing it for the next 15 months then what happens if you haven't booked a trip yet and when you do you find there are no reservations for the entire length of your trip? I reckon they'll only do it for 2020 and then extend into 2021 in the New year when US guests can book trips though the WDTC.

They've said you can check park availability before you purchase tickets.

They’ve also said (not in exactly these words) that might show as available when you start going through reservation system but might not be by the time you complete it. Add in buying the tickets adds more of an if.

So basically it's like shopping, An item is in the basket & by the time you put your payment details in, sold out! Buy a park ticket, you aren't quick enough, tough luck! What a mess.

I'm going to have to call MDE. I want to know if you don't get to book your park days unless you have paid for your park ticket or not. I had to expalin what the hell was going on to friends who are also going last night. Luckily they are ok with having to stump up the park ticket cash if need be.

Just checked MDE, and my park tickets have now disappeared from my booking for July 2021. So I guess this means I'm screwed to be able to book any reservations if the system opens tomorrow, and the July 2021 dates are released.

I’ve just got off the phone with Disney and apparently 2021 dates are not going live on the park reservation system until the 26th. She said it says online they go live from the 22nd, it says beginning 22nd. But either way my point of asking her why does it not just say 2020 bookings on the 22nd and 2021 on the 26th! She could not and would not answer this.

Still would not sort out adding my booking to my MDE.
