Government Turning Over UFO Knowledge to Senate June 1st

So, back to why I posted this thread. On June 1st the Pentegon is going to hand over what it knows about UFOs to the senate and it will be public.
Former President Trump included this in his 2019 Covid Relief bill that the director of national intelligence submit a report within 180 days of the date of enactment of the Act, to the congressional intelligence and armed services committees on unidentified aerial phenomena.
With all due respect I think you need to temper your expectations. Why would the government after keeping these secrets for over 80 years suddenly roll and tell us everything? This all has an “Al Capone’s Vault” vibe to it. The reveal will be that there is nothing to reveal.

I guess my question to the believers is this:

IF this super secret government report DOES, in fact, confirm the existence of actual ALIEN BEINGS, then what? What are you going to do with that information?

I think you're absolutely correct. If the government does in fact have evidence of life on other planets, it won't be this Earth-shattering reveal that some may be hoping for. Im thinking any evidence will be something more prosaic but nonetheless exciting, like maybe that Mars had water once. Water usually = life of some sort. Could just be microbial.

I *do* have 'Aliens' on my 2021 bingo card, though. So I can always hope.

Keep living my life the same way I have been. They been around for who knows how long, us knowing about them wont change much.

Exactly. This is why I don't understand the fervor with which some people obsess over this topic. If they exist, they exist. Doesn't change a darn thing about life on Earth as we know it.

I don't get all the hub bub either (though I believe life exists elsewhere) but I think this is much more of a generic explanation unrelated to the actual topic of UFO information supposedly being released.

I'd think it'd be much more about confirmation of what you believe in. I doubt it will changes any actions (I mean what could it change honestly) but it could change someone's emotions. So long as people don't go off the deep end into a conspiracy blackhole it's harmless to me. If they get the confirmation they are looking for no skin off my back.

That said since when is the government ever good about sticking with deadlines  June could come and go with nadda and they'd be like "oops better luck next month".

Here is the article. I saw this with my own eyes.

https://lmtribune.com/northwest/x-f...cle_92fbf301-a0d6-53d6-8d81-041dd929fef3.html

I was driving from my mothers house and decided to take a shortcut through the backroads in rural Idaho. It was night, clear sky and in our area you can see every star in the sky.
I was taken off guard because I looked up and saw three orange red lights, not blinking and not far off the ground. I stopped because I thought it was a plane about to crash and it was low enough I thought I'd be injured. It was then that I realized how big this thing was. It blocked out a lot of the stars and I was able to make it out. I started to get excited because this was real. I got out of my car, alone in the dark, out on the backroads. This huge thing made absolutely no sound and it moved incredibly slow. And then I thought about every movie I've seen that starts with someone alone in the dark, on some backroad. Then I got scared I'd be seen. So I got in my car and watched this thing thinking it wouldnt clear the mountain ahead.
I had to call my mom when I got home. The next day I overheard a coworker talking about how her mom had been outside smoking the night before and saw it. The radio stations reported on it and then the local newspaper. My daughter just told me it was on a documentary but she never told me about it!

Anyway, that was my second sighting. So, yeah. I believe.

“Bishop said there recently was a report of an UFO landing in Noxon, Mont., a town near the Montana-Idaho border, east of Coeur d'Alene.

‘In this particular case there was beings spotted, all of three types. The three types of aliens reportedly seen included a "7-foot-tall reptilian being, the traditional 3 1/2 -foot-tall grays, then also the other one was just a combination of the two,’ said Bishop.

The alleged aliens were spotted by a couple who were camping, he said. The Mutual UFO Network brought investigators up from Las Vegas, and the sighting is still being evaluated, he said.

‘They had an incredible sighting, if in fact it is true. But lights in the sky and that sort of thing, basically what I do is take the report and catalog them in the database and forward them on to the MUFON center. I just investigate the ones that have landings or cattle mutilations. We get three or four cases of those a year, usually south of Boise.’
Between 80 to 90 percent of the time, reports called into the Seattle center have nothing to do with ‘genuine UFO sightings,’
Davenport said.”

I suppose they can feel vindicated if people ever laughed at them for believing it.

I think. I better clarify,or reiterate. I am anxious to hear what the Pentegon has to share. I did not say I was sure they would share the truth. I question why now? Whats the agenda, what's next. Theyve proven how easily they can manipulate the public and the media is right on board.
I am hopeful that maybe there will be true transparency and I'm looking forward to what they share. Whether or not they are open and honest, who knows.

Who knows if there are. But if there are I have no doubt that the government is NOT going to turn that info over.

June 1st won't give us THE answer. Until a spaceship lands on the White House front lawn, nobody will be convinced of anything. I believe there are much more advanced lifeforms out there.
Lord knows there HAS to be, the last couple of years has proven to me, just how unintelligent the people of this planet actually are lol.

My ex's father retired from NASA with some pretty high security clearance, so I was told, and we were asking him how often UFO's showed up on their radars and such and he said, "Every single day". I definitely believed him. It's pretty ignorant to think that we are the only planet with life. If WE are as smart as it gets then that's pretty pathetic.

We're all going to holler, "I KNEW IT!"

I believe that the OP saw something they could not explain. An explanation has been offered and the OP said no, that wasn't my experience. I respect that. Myself, I'll withhold my judgement because I have witnessed stuff I can't explain, too. Not a UFO, something else. Am I convinced that what I saw was real? All I can say is I don't know, and I think that's a healthy attitude to have with the paranormal.
Exactly. Why the keyboard warriors are so intent on trying to explain it away is beyond me. So what if people see things. YOU weren't there. Why so hellbent on trying to convince everyone that it's not true? Nothing anyone can say is going to change this persons personal experience. At no point is he going to say, "oh yeah, you...you who is more than likely in your underwear eating cereal as you type is probably spot on in your analogy of what I saw." I say just let people be.
