Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower at Contemporary Resort - *2 New Parties Added! “Enchantment at the Top” & New “Bound to Be Bad” Dates Added

I have read several (SEVERAL) pages of this thread and the questions that I have, I either over looked within the different conversations or missed altogether. I'm hoping someone can help me.
I'm hoping to go to the TOTWL - Villains' Lair on 12/6.
When do we get there to check in? Do we have to get there right when it opens for availability? Is there somewhere that parties are listed that I can check to make sure it doesn't interfere with our plans?

You can check in any time once open and will be able to go up if there is room. If not, they will put you in a waitlist and then text when you can go up.

The current Wicked Wind Down is only going until October 12th but they have been extending a month at a time.

You will know those are happening by checking the website.

I was able to book for December 5 yesterday, so I believe they may have quietly shifted to a 60 day window.

I called member services. No wait time on the phone, required to pay in full at time of booking ($55/pp, came to $133.04 for 2 people all in). 48 hour cancellation policy and they said to arrive prior to 8:30pm (prior to 30min before fireworks). It shows as an 8PM reservation in MDE.
Yep, they told me it was an 8pm check in time. We can still go up during the event just wait listed for a table. May be able to sit at a table if one is available.

ETA : Thank you!

How hard is it to book? Just thinking of trying to book for early early Jan, and wondering if I need to be calling the second member services opens?

I called them in the evening, around 6 pm on October 12th for a reservation in November. I had no issue getting a reservation for 4.

They did tell me that, since fireworks were scheduled for 8:15 on my date, we should plan to arrive by 7:15/7:30, at the latest, even though it said 8 pm check in. She did say that, if we arrive at 8 that day, they would not be able to guarantee us a fireworks viewing spot.

If they can’t guarantee , will you still be charged?
She said that we would need to cancel in advance to avoid being charged. I can’t remember if she said 24 hours or 48 hours in advance. But I think that’s why she also repeated (5 times) that we should arrive earlier than it notes on the reservation.

Does anyone know if they are doing the Wicked Wind-down December 30 and/or December 31?? Has there been any announcement about this yet?

Thanks!

I did call and ask, and was told nothing could be booked (not sure if that means there are no spots, or no event, nor did the woman I spoke with know the answer).

I guess dining reservations is busy setting up the Candlelight & Fantasmic Dining packages .
Guarantee it will be very expensive for Top World BLT and MK has 2 sets of fireworks on 12/30 and 12/31 .
$$$ expensive for guests and $$$$$$ for Disney .

As an FYI, just got off with member service for todays try… nothing for Dec 30 or 31… marked as “dark” meaning it is “not open” (or perhaps will open when Disney releases some event for NYE later). Also, dark for January… meaning nothing can be booked past Dec 29th at this time. She did go talk to a supervisor to see if any more information was available on January, but the short answer… no idea what will be offered or when.

It did say it would be a rolling 60 day window so maybe that is why it’s not letting anyone book yet for January dates? 60 days from today is only Dec 31st.

All dark for 12/30 and 31 means is they haven't announced the exclusive upcharge event. That will cost a minimum of $250 per head and include a bag of cheez-its and a premix cocktail.
