HEA Dessert Party

Reporting back that the HEA Sweets & Seats food and beverage offerings on 4/5 were exactly the same items they offered during the Enchantment Party from the weekend before on 3/31.

Personal preference for fireworks viewing would be for the pre or post parties where you are seated on the lawn. We checked in to the Seats party at 8:05 and were one of the last ones seated. I loved our spot though. It was in the area to the immediate right of the
Entrance, and had a lot of space around it. We were directly underneath Tink’s landing spot. Unfortunately it was too windy for her to fly. It was also quieter there. The covered area underneath was so loud, almost overwhelming. Also the sound isn't great for the show. Hopefully there us a next time, and we can snag a pre or post party.

Thank you for all your posts. Hope your trip was/is great!

Trying to decide between the Post-Party and Seats & Sweets. We're not too concerned with having a seat, but it would be nice. I'm more concerned about being rushed during the Post-Party.

How much time do they give you to snack during the Post-Party? Is it chaos trying to make your way over to Tomorrowland Terrace after the fireworks with the crowds of people?

The Mammoth Club did a really good review on YouTube. There are pictures of the food offerings, and some thoughts on the pros and cons of each Dessert party.

Going next week- anyone have photos of the beverage options? Just want to see how many bottles I’ll be able to down 😜

We just did the post-party last week on 4/18. Happy Birthday present to me!! We had an amazing time!! I've never done the dessert party before, but I already have it booked for my next trip in June! With 2 kids (9 yo, 5 yo) it was great being able to wait on the lawn, and have a great viewing of the fireworks without being on top of everyone. It was a little chaotic getting back to the dessert party after the fireworks and going through the crowds of people trying to leave the park, but it's not very far so wasn't horrible. We thought the desserts were delicious! I liked that they had plenty of fruit as an option, and the cheese and bread was good for soaking up the alcohol we drank. 😆 The kids loved the options as well, especially the decorate your own cookie station. They had sparkling cider in champagne glasses for the kids as well, which my niece loved! We didn't feel rushed at all. Made plenty of trips to get what we wanted, and were given a last call probably about an hour after the party started. We were the last ones to leave, because we received a little Disney Magic at the end - a happy birthday dessert for me from one of the amazing CP cast members!!

The drinks were plentiful ... the only stipulation was 2 drinks per person at a time. But we went back plenty of times! 🥂 Someone asked for a picture of the drinks, I happen to have one because I wanted to remember what we were drinking!

Overall we had a blast, we loved the experience, and to us it was worth it for the convenience of the fireworks viewing and all the yummy desserts and drinks we got after!!

Thank you! What time did you get to the viewing area?

We have always done the After Party and am looking forward to a better viewing spot.

How crowded was the viewing area?

We did it 5 years ago and there was room to sit… it was full but not shoulder to shoulder people.

I’m wondering if over the years they’ve started to pack it fuller.

Also, is the back fence still the best place to sit for viewing purposes?

We did the post party. We got hotdogs at Casey’s corner and sat along the back fence to eat. When the show started everyone stood up and moved forward and we stayed in the back and had the best viewing possible. It was really nice to watch the show without all of the pushing and shoving that goes on when you’re out amongst everyone else. It is expensive, but worth it once or twice because you really get to enjoy the show.

We got to the viewing area sometime around 8:20-8:30. It said to check in at 8:00, and since I've never done it, I was worried that we were checking in "late" but there were still plenty of places to sit and wait.

There were quite a few people, but it definitely wasn't packed by any means. We arrived around 8:20-8:30, and still found a nice spot to all sit on the grass. About 10 minutes before the fireworks started, everyone stood up and rushed to the front of the viewing area. We stayed about halfway back, my niece and I leaned on the railing of one of the trees in the middle. It was great! We weren't crowded at all, and had a great view without a bunch of stuff in front of us. I think when I go in June, we'll try to secure a spot towards the back and lean on the back railing. I have no desire to rush to the front of the viewing area like most people do. The spot we had was great, but I'd like to try the back next time!

I booked treats and seats today for July 3rd so I assume June is sold out if you can’t see it

Is the view ok? I’m very short at just over 5’ and do not enjoy watching in the throngs. It’s been awhile since we’ve done a dessert party tho (years). ETA I booked the post party also and need to decide which one to cancel 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

Will they show 2 fireworks on 7/3 or does the fourth fireworks happen instead of typical show?

I booked the post party for that day. But I think they just show the July 4th show? I’m not 100% though

Yes I think you’re right. That’s what I found online. It’s different than NYE where they have multiple shows

Your dates are sold out, they’ve been loaded for June for a while.
Thanks! My date is actually on July 1st I was just testing the waters so to speak. That makes me nervous that July 1st will be sold out too. My 60+10 is coming up on Monday morning! Wish me luck!
