HEA Dessert Party

I was able to snag the post dessert party on April 3rd ! If no one posts about the party - I will post all the things once I get a chance. Has anyone done the post party before ? If so what is the amount of time you have for desserts and drinks post fireworks ? It wasn’t really clear.

Our first post-party is 3/31. Was wondering this too? If no one answers, I’ll let ya know what our experience is.

Our most recent post-parties were in January and just this past Thursday. Both times we had more than enough time to enjoy all the treats/drinks we wanted, and we ended up leaving while they were still serving everything (~30 minutes was plenty for us).

Did they have any savory options apart from cheese and crackers, out of curiosity? Any cakes or cookies? Thanks!

They still only have the cheese/bread/cracker options. They have a cute cookie decorating station as well as mini cupcakes. Lots of tarts and little pudding things… A decent option is the apple crepes (can’t remember the official name), but my personal go-tos are the fresh fruit and chocolate covered strawberries.

Yes! We went to the Enchantment After-Party on 7/31 and throughly enjoyed it! We arrived at check-in at about 8:15 pm, and got our wristbands. Walked over to the grassy area, and followed DISers advice to go to the back fence. That worked out perfectly for us! It was myself, DD8, and DS11. We were also able to see the projections on Main Street from that location. food was mostly desserts. Savory offerings were fruit, cheese cubes, and crackers. We each had a plate, then booked it to Tomorrowland to ride. We did BUZZ(LL), Speedway, People Mover, and closed out the night at Astro Orbiter. I had a LL for Space but it went down and they gave me one to use that was also valid the next day at MK I think it came back up, but we saved the LL for the next day.

Tonight we are headed back to MK for a Treats and Seats. I will let you know if the offerings change from last Friday.

Question: My booking window is this Saturday for dining reservations. Can I book the Seats & Sweets along with my 60+ window or is this different than regular dining reservations and I will need to wait right at 60-days for this?

Question for previous dessert party attendees: I'm considering splurging on one to treat my sister, who gets bad anxiety in crowds but very generously humors my love of HEA. I've tentatively booked a pre-party for a date in early May when HEA is at 9 and MK closes at 10, with the thought of being able to squeeze in an attraction afterwards.

Will the crowds be simply maddening and not worth fighting through? Would the post-party potentially be the better choice here? Not really interested in the seated one, plus it books up so darn fast!

I'm mostly excited to have a prime viewing spot without fighting the crowds, and figure anywhere in Plaza Gardens is better than outside it, so I'm not TOO worried about feeling "rushed" during the pre-party. (I say now ... I also get anxious about certain things and this could easily turn out to be one of them )

I guess people liked them too much…I remember last we went to a party that had them they disappeared as son as the pan was refilled.

Ugh, that’s a bummer! At our most recent party in March, a girl had grabbed an entire fruit platter not to eat at the party mind you but to box up to go.

I saw that happen once when we stayed club level at the WL a woman picked up a whole plate of chocolate chip cookies and just walked out with it
