If we have a park ticket to MK on the same day as MNSSHP and we have tickets to that as well - does that mean we can try for the virtual queue 3 times? (7, 1 and 6)
You can try 3 times but can only ride a max of 2 times, unless you purchase an ILL$ as the 3rd ride.

If you are successful at 7AM and ride, you will not be eligible for the 1PM drop. If you are successful at 7AM and don't use it and it expires, you can try again at 1PM.

A party ticket will allow you to try again at 6PM.

My assumption is yes, although if you get it at 7am, you of course won't be able to try again at 1pm. What I don't know is if you would be able to try again at 6pm if you'd already gotten the 7am.

(Nevermind, I see that this was answered and it appears you could get the VQ a max of 2 times.)

I've read that the 6 pm VQ for Tron is a tough one to get for Extended EVening hours so am thinking it will be the same for the party.

Does anyone know if the desserts offered at the fireworks dessert party are specially themed during the Halloween party? Or would it be the same spread as currently offered at the regular HEA dessert party? Thanks for any info!

We just decided to do a short Disney trip over my fall break and will be doing our first Halloween party! (Actually, our first special Disney party period!) Super excited!

I know that character greetings and shows are the big draw here rather than rides, which works for us. Just wondering what to expect in terms of character lines. I know the one my daughter will absolutely not want to miss us Elvis Stitch - does that tend to be a long line? Outside of Jack and Sally (which I take from convos here to be one of the top-demand meet-and-greets), about how long can we expect character lines to be?

Speaking of character m&gs, how long does Pooh & the Gang get? They are the only m&g I'm interested in... but not sure if I am for more than an hour... I saw on last year's thread that they tend to start meeting at 6:30, with the line usually beginning around 5:30?!

We are booked for the August 22nd party!! Priorities are the parade, fireworks, food, and trick or treating. Happy haunting friends! 👻

This was my wife's only "want" last year. We went there around 530ish and was out by 7pm. Later In the night the line was shorter. But if this a must I wouldnt take any chances.

I wouldn’t mind that kind of wait with a snack in hand! Does DAS work for these?

I am wondering about this as well. I’ve booked a dessert party for Aug 22nd, and if no one else has by then, I will report back what the offerings are.

DAS only works on the characters with a permanent meeting "place" like Town Square Theater for Jack and Sally. And then it doesn't work on the app. You have to ask the CM at the line.

Stitch has a dedicated spot, but he can come and go taking breaks and it isn't a permanent character place, so it won't work for him for example.

Thank you!

I remember how that was like for my last Christmas party pre pandemic. Guess I know which line I’m gunning for first. Curious to see if they’ll be in the same spot as before.

Actually disability adjacent question not related to the characters. Does MK have a disability seating area for the parades? I don’t tend to do a lot of parade watching but I always wanted to see the Boo To You Parade and wondering if they have that.

Mainly asking because I’m more experienced with DL which does have that

In 2019 there was a spot where cast members were lining up folks in wheel chairs and scooters. It was in Liberty Tree Square by Sleepy Hollow snack shop. But it's also possible that people just lined up there, the way you could park your scooter anywhere along the route.

For Fireworks, the disability seating is across the walkway, in front of the garden that is used for the dessert party. This is the right side if you are facing the castle. I'm not sure if this still happens, but when I was in the garden party, I noticed that the CMs were limiting the number of guests that could come into the space with the disabled person. If your party is more than 2 people, I think it is worth it for you to figure out what the procedure is for these reserved sections. There were a number of people who were surprised and unhappy about being separated.
