11/04/04 "3 Day Cruise" Nov 4 04

Actually, I just was filling them all out and saw this on the cute box the documents come in:

1. Bahamas Immigration Form (1 per guest) (that's how I knew it was missing in my box!)

2. Embarkation Form, including emergency contact (1 per guest)

3. Cruise Contract (1 per guest)

4. Payment Authorization Form (1 per stateroom)

So I guess I'll have to fill out the Bahamas form upon arrival at the Port but I do not think I'm going to fill out my kid's payment authorization forms based on what the document box says.

Sorry - it is 1 per stateroom but they will automatically give charging privliges to all cards so if you want them removed from any cards, just take them to guest services.

Our agent e-mailed on Thurs. to say the docs arrived from Disney and she would be sending them out USPS. They arrived on Friday!

No upgrade, but we're on deck 2 across from the forward elevators and under shopping, so it sounds like a good spot.

I am so excited!!!

"THE'RE HERE..............."

TIGGRBABY, I AM ON THE OTHER END FROM YOU.

NOW, I AM EXCITED!!!!!!!!!

Wasn't the packaging cute? I keep looking at all the stuff. Even my oldest son who does not want to come said the island looked nice. I am planning out all my time, although I know that I will probably not accomplish half (as usual!).

I THINK MY DD & I ARE GOING TO CABLE BEACH FOR THE WYNDHAM HOTEL IN BAHAMAS.

DOES ANYONE HAVE PLANS FOR THE BAHHAMAS?

HERE IS THE FOLLOWING I HAVE FOUND ON THE BOARDS REGARDING THE BEACHES:

In Nassau, take the 1.00 (per person) # 10 bus to the hotel strip & hang out for free at
the Wyndham hotel. We did (they welcome cruise ship passangers for the extra revenue it
generates for the hotel, lunch, casino, drinks...), we stayed on their beach & did
great snorkeling in their little beach cove (to the right of the main beach, go to
wyndham.com & look at the property pictures to see what i'm talking about).
We spent 4.00 for this day, better than any excursion!

Two weeks to go!
We plan on using Nassau day as a spa day and just for taking advantage of the emptier ship.

Hi All, We'll also be on the 11/04 Cruise. Only 12 days until we leave. This is my second disney cruise

We consist of Four Moms and Four turning-13 kids (2 boys and 2 girls). Two Cat 5 Cabin on Deck 7. Thought we'd welcome our kids into the teen years the Disney Way

We're all from Mountain Lakes, NJ. The kids are the talk of the school!!!

See you all on board

HI THERE~

GOT TWO QUESTIONS FOR YOU. WHERE IS MOUNTAIN LAKES?
IS IT NORTHERN JERSEY OR SOUTHERN?

ARE YOU FLYING IN THE DAY BEFORE? IF SO WHERE ARE YOU STAYING?

THANKS

GOING PACK ON SUNDAY. (HOPEFULLY)

Mountain Lakes is In northern New Jersey. About 25 miles west of NYC on Route 80.

We are flying in the day before on JetBlue (couldn't get a reasonable direct flight out of newark)and spending the night at the Holiday Inn in Downtown Disney. The kids are going to go to Disney Quest for the evening, while us moms grab a bite to eat. My 17 year old went to Disney Quest last year and said they will have a blast.

We are using FLTours for our transportation, and plan on leaving for the port around 11:30 on Thursday.

As for Bahama plans... This will be my third cruise with the kid and I've always rented a room at Comfort Suites and spend the day at Atlantis. If you have a room at Comfort Suites, you get full access to the entire Atlantis Complex.

Hair braiding right on the beach, water slides, pools, beach, aquarium, it really is a great day.

MOTHERMUTI, I LIVE IN TEANECK, NOT TO FAR FROM YOU.

ARE YOU FLYING OUT OF LGA? WHAT TIME? WE ARE FLYING WITH AA OUT OF LGA.

WE ARE STAYING AT THE RADDISON, LEAVING THE RENT A CAR THERE, & TAKING THE SHUTTLE TO THE PORT.

SOUNDS LIKE FUN, AT THE ATLANTIS.

Please tell me more about this... have you already rented a room or do you do it upon arrival? Is this what I have heard called a "day room"? What do they charge for it?

Many thanks.....

Mothermuti:

My sister and I are bringing my 11 and 13 YO sons. We are staying at the Comfort Inn right outside Downtown Disney, and we are going to Rainforest Cafe for dinner ( I got two $25 gift cards from mypoints.com) and all four of us are going to DQ. I bought my tickets through Ticketmania. They were only $24 each, and they arrived in less than a week. We went to DQ in 2003, and it was a blast!

We were going to do CS, but we decided against it since there is so little time to spend on the cruise and we are now planning to use that as our day of reviving our energy. If they boys get really bored, I will take them to the Wyndam. I understand that their pool and beach is free.

If you've never been there - it is quite something. It's not just a hotel - it an amusement park.

There are two options to have access to Atlantis.

1. Book a room at the comfort suites now. I paid 175, but am not sure what the rate is now.

2. Hope to get a day room at atlantis. Last time I was there, they were charging 200 to use a room for the day. You cannot pre-book this, but you can call in the morning from the ship to see if they have any available.

It is nice to have a room - 1/2 the group can shower before heading back to the ship. I believe there is a 5 person maximum per room. You are given bracelets which give you access to everything, and yes, they do check. You can also get beach towels, so you don't need to lug then from the ship.

We are flying JetBlue from JFK. We got a rate of 69.00. Not too bad for a direct flight. I hate to have stops on my flights so I opted to drive to JFK instead of flying out of Neward

Great flight price! We are using Delta Song, we leave from JFK and return to LGA. My sister's BF is taking us, and my husband is picking us up.

If we wake up early enough, maybe we'll try booking a day room. We did the Digs last April, they were neat. I just decided we might not want to rush around every morning. My 13YO is not a morning person (actually, my sister isn't either!). We know that we want to get off early for CC, and they won't let you sleep in on the last day!
