Lisa has a claim on 8000....and I like Lisa. I wouldn't do that to her.

Diana, Megan & I are taking the portable DVD player. Not taking a chance on the airline's movies. When Jay and I came back from Curacao, they had trouble with the movie and only got static for sound.
When we all came back from Bonaire, apparently someone "forgot" to bring the movie. Now, wouldn't you think that they would leave those on the plane? I didn't think a flight attendant would have to run to Blockbuster before a flight and get a movie!

I'm officially out of here until Tuesday a.m.

I guess now would not be a good time to ask you all to remember my middle brother in your prayers. Mom called, and he has to have surgery on Friday. It wasn't something that he elected to do, and it won't be pleasant...but I really can't mention what it is. It's not deadly serious, but not good, either. Anyway, his name is Mark. And he'd be mad at me if I cancelled my trip to go there, he's that way. He's a great guy.
Please think of him, if you would.

And I am sorry Lisa.

It is easy to do - INADVERTANTLY..... I know - it happened on Christmas night 2003.... and I've been labeled a ever since!

Not too bad at the moment...... Hopefully it'll stay calm.... can't use the "Q" word..... bad karma to use it....

But.....I still like you !!! To think, on Christmas night of all nights, what a guy .
Leaving home in about an hour, gotta finish packing .
I will try to keep Stacey under control, not sure that will happen too easily. I think she's going to be like a little kid going to see and for the first time. I know what it's like to go without kids when you are used to going with them - it's a whole different experience.

Busy day today....must do school and then do last minute things before we get the PUPPY!

Fair was fun....I only ate a piece of pizza, lemonade shake ups, part of a deep fried twinkie, some fries, a few bites of KT's roasted corn on the cob and a couple of bites of ohiomickey's caramel apple.... I think that its. I also think I won't be stepping on the scale today!!

Hey, Virgil....we went up to Easton the other day. Thought of you guys. This time we actually walked around and browsed. Usually we go up with a mission in mind and then leave. While there we found out that that lovely iPod you talked dh into getting is now $100 cheaper!!! Ya know I'm gonna give you heck about that!!

Actually..... It's only cheaper because it doesn't include the dock, case or remote control..... So he still got a deal.... Of course I won't tell you that the new click wheel iPods are awesome....

Oops! I missed it! Oh well. No problem. Stace, of course I'll pray for your brother! I sure hope it goes well. I'll try to remember on Friday, but I'll definitely send some up today, just in case it slides through my sieve of a brain!

I was going to check on the thread last night, but it was classic crazy evening at our house. DS and I went to Wal Mart to get stuff for DD's care package (DS actually thought of it, isn't that sweet). We went over to Checker's to get something to eat. He took one bite of his chicken nuggets and started yelling that his ear hurt too bad to eat! He's had a little sore on the outside of his ear since earlier this weekend, and we'd been putting neospoin on it. I thought he had just scratched it or something. Well, I ended up taking him to the prompt care to find out that he had a bad case of swimmer's ear that had migrated all the way out to his earlobe. Bad Mommy, bad mommy! Of course, he hadn't said anything at all until last night! By the time we got the medicine, and he was settled down enough to sleep, it was pretty late.

So does this mean I get to claim 9000 then?? If so, I promise I'll try to check better! Even if I have to set my alarm for the middle of the night to stop those west coast (love ya Stace, mean it!)

Now I'm talking to myself. Had to comment about Stacey's Toad poop. Never heard of it, but it sounds EEEEW! I did know about snake poop. We have black snakes in abundance around here. One got caught in our garden fencing a few years back. DH went out to untangle it. The kids were right there. Of course, I was way back by the door to the house (hate snakes, hate snakes, HATE SNAKES!). Anyway, it definitely left it's mark while DH was unravelling it from the netting. I guess it's a defense mechanism, at least according to the Discovery Channel.

To all travellers, have an awesome time! I really can't wait to hear how it went!

This argument would work except for one small fact...Mike doesn't se the dock, case OR the remote control that came with the iPod. Doesn't even use the headphones! Ah well, it's alright. I think it's worth it's weight in gold!

We've seen the new click wheel iPods. That's what KT wants for Christmas....and she says that's ALLLLLL she wants. So we're thinking of getting it for her and an air hockey table for Nick and calling our shopping DONE!! Would be so much easier seeing as we'll be gone for Christmas this year.

I can't remember who asked about going in Oct, but I will going Oct 21-24 for Food and Wine Fest. Planning on attending Party for the Senses on Sat Oct 23. Staying at the BWV. I am waitlisted for Thurs, but hopefully it will come through.

The reason I asked is that based on a thread on the main cruise board we may be getting a gift from them if enough cabins are booked through them.

We had this happen on our last cruise (May 2003) where we got sparkeling cider and a nice plate of sweets.

I know they changed from that but it seems like some of the more recent cruisers have been getting them.
