A Throwback Trip Report! - 7 Years Ago!

Day One: Animal Kingdom

Today was a big day for us. And I think that this day really set the tone for the rest of the trip!

We started the day going to Animal Kingdom. I remeber taking the bus to Animal Kingdom only because it was the first time we had to fold up the stroller. And a) Andy didn't know how to do it. Someone ended up helping him. and b) I realized we had ALOT of crap crammed into that thing and no good way to hold all of it when it wasn't actually in the stroller. Plus Gwen was still little enough that she needed help on and off the bus!

But of course we made it to Animal Kingdom!

And first up was the Safari.

And it was a good Safari for the 1st one!

A Giraffe said hello up close!

I also remember thinking that the Rhino were REALLY close.

Lions by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Even the Lion was up and about!

After our Safari ride we headed to see the Lion King Show. The show, of course is the same, but at the time it was over where Pandora is now.

And they had these guys that you could see as you walked over the bridge

I think this one was right by where you parked the strollers. And Gwen WAS OBSESSED WITH IT!!!! She literally talked about Donald fishing a Boot ALL....... THE ....... TIME.....
I have a video of a trip reveal for the next trip, and Gwen says almost immediatly, that she can see Donald and the boot. I don't know.... kids...

We went in and got a seat for Lion King.
Lion King Show by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

It was amazing as always.
Lion King Show by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

Gwen loved all of the show. But this guy...
Gwen's Favorite by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
SHE LOVED!!! She was clapping so big for this guy. It was soooo cute.

Also, looking at these pictures, I realize it's been awhile since we have seen this show!

After it seems like we found our way over to Dinoland... And let the girls run around in the Dig Site.
Dino Land by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
I HATED these things when we were there. They were so little, and trying to keep track of them was a nightmare!
(They loved it, of course)

DinoLand by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

I want to say we had lunch at Flame Tree BBQ next, but there are ZERO photos of food this trip. So, who knows...

We did finish the day off with a trip to see Finding Nemo Show. I do remember that we got in line and waited for a bit and one of the girls decided they had to go to the bathroom right before they were letting people in. So, we had to get out of line, find the nearest bathroom and then rushed back to see if we could still get into the show.

We made it, after a little agrivastion...

Tired Bubba by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Somebody was getting tired.

The girls loved Finding Nemo as well. And after that, it was time for us to leave and head back to the resort to rest!

I will say at this age(s)... This was more than enough time at Animal Kingdom. At the time, there was barely any rides for the girls to ride.

Up next Cinderella's Royal Table Dinner

Day One: Cinderella's Royal Table

We headed back to the Poly and had the girls nap. I am pretty sure we had to wake them up to get ready for dinner!

Tinkerbell left gifts I think most days at nap time? Maybe? But this trip was how this all started. I had collected basically every princess dress / costume known to man from Target to avoid buying the super $$$$ ones in the parks. And realistically they were lighter and shorter for the girls to wear.

Tinkerbell Gifts by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Just waking up and checking out what was left for them.

Tinkerbell Gifts by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
The girls checked out the dresses and decided what they wanted to wear to dinner tonight! They both decided on not wearing either of these today, as they had these yarn wigs my mom made them, and they wanted to wear the dresses that had wigs with them...

IMG_0107 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Before long, we were on our way to park with Rapunzel and Jasmine.

One our Way to dinner by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
As you can see, the girls were still a bit tired. Gwen has her lovey monkey with her, that we bravely let her bring with her and Morgan had her trusty thumb! (thankfully that can't be lost)

I am pretty sure we got to Magic Kingdom and went straight to the Castle.

Cinderella by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
And before the girls knew what was happening they were meeting Cinderella!

Cinderella by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

Cinderella by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
I remember feeling rushed here, we had walked in and barely had time to pull out the autograph books and get ready to take pictures.

XXXXX by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
OMG, this picture... Look at Gwen's face. She looks like, "Is this REALLY Cinderella? Right in front of me?" Ha!

But we met Cinderella, with Monkey! And then were escorted upstairs to the dinning area.

This was also THE MOST EXPENSIVE meal we have ever paid for Gwen! She was techincally free but she would have to share with Morgan or me. And the adult meals was NOTHING that she would eat and Morgan wanted the pizza and I had a feeling she was going to eat all of it. So, we painfully paid out of pocket for a second kids meal.... which at the time I want to say was $50!

That all being said, Morgan talked about for MONTHS about getting her own app of grapes and cheese cubes. Ha! And they both ate all of there pizzas (minus the crust of course) I remember zero about the food Andy and I had. I want to say I had a fish that was really good. And Andy had steak that was good but salty.

But really we were here for the princesses... So, here is a dump of photos!!!!

Wishing on a Star by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Gwen wishing on a star. I mean I can't take the cuteness.

Wishing on a Star by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
And Morgan wishing on her star.

You can see both of there pizzas in both pics. I was right Morgan inhaled her pizza. And I also remember the waitress being SUPER nice about it, and asking us like 4 times if we really wanted to pay for Gwen's food.

Jasmine is coming by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
As the girls ate, the Princesses were being announced and entered into the space. They were soooo excitied.

OMG It's Aurora by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

here they come by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

First to come to our table was Aurora, who was Morgan's favorite!
Auroroa by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

This Aurora was perfect. I really kind of felt she really looked like Aurora.

Aurora by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
We call this the picture where Morgan almost exploded with excitiement!

Aurora by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Hugs before Aurora moved on.

Princesses by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
The girls were loving just seeing all the princesses come into the room and walk around.

This is too much to handle by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Morgan also needed a princess break for a little thumb / reflection time...

Cupcakes by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
The girls got there dessert fairly early as well. But it worked out well, as they had pretty much eaten everything before the parade of princess started coming by. And having 2 was good, as they got to decorate there own cupcakes...

Is it really Snow White by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Snow White was next. And Morgan's face in this one looks like she isn't sold on Snow White.

Snow White by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Snow White was a bit of a drip. And we were all meh with her for the most part.

Snow White by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

But then... Gwen's IDOL was walked in!!
OMG by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Jasmine was announced into the room!

but before Jasmine could make it to our table, we got a visit from Ariel.
Ariel by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
This particular Ariel was just ok. Nothing special happened. (but don't worry, we had an amazing Ariel interaction later in the trip)

And FINALLY IT WAS TIME!!!! Jasmine had arrived at our table.
Jasmine, Do you like my Wig? by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Gwen put her wig on just for her meet! They had a whole conversation about her wig.

Jasmine by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Oh Gwen, was soo soo soo excited to meet Jasmine.

jasmine by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Don't mind my face in this pic. I share because of Gwen's face. Her eyes! She is just in awe!

Jasmine by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Hugs with Jasmine for both.

Jasimine by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

Jasmine by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

For us, this was absolutly perfect! The girls being the age they were. It was great to get to see ALL of those princesses all at once and in air conditioning. It is a VERY $$$ meal but so worth it at this age. And I will say, we have never done it again. This was def a once and done item for us.

After finishing our meal and meeting all the princesses we headed out.

Royal Table by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Someone offered to take our picture on the way out.

And then when we came back downstairs, there was no one waiting to meet with Cinderella, so she came over and talked to the girls a second time!

Gwen Cinderella by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
The girls got one last princess hug.

Second hugs with Cinderella by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

And while we were at dinner, Gwen had asked what Cinderella's shoes looked like. (YES, my 2 year old was already obsessed with shoes....)

So, after hugs, I had said to Cinderella that Gwen was wondering what her shoes looked like. And she was ever so gracious to show Gwen.

BFFs by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

BFFs by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

And with that quick interaction, we left dinner on a high and very much happy with the expierence!

Up next... the beginning of a Disney Tradition!

Day One: A Disney Tradition Begins!

After dinner, we had 1 goal in mind. We wanted to take Gwen on the Magic Carpets, since she had her Jasmine costume on.

We headed "in that direction".... which apparently ended up being via Rapunzel's bathrooms...

IMG_1687 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Which turned out to be amazing!

The girls loved the area.
IMG_1687 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
We tried to get a good shot of the girls with Raps's Tower.... meh...

And I think we used the bathrooms while we were here. And when we came out, these 2 girls came up to the girls and pretended they were THE REAL Jasime and Rapunzel.

IMG_0126 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
It was really cute.

IMG_0126 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
I think she might have asked Morgan where Pascal was.... Morgan of course had no idea what to make of this lady thinking she was ACTUALLY Rapunzel. ha! But it was so sweet and one of those special moments.

IMG_1687 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
We were about to leave the area, when Morgan realized that they were playing the music from the scene when Rapunzel is in the courtyard and dances around...and she had her rapunzel dress on and just started dancing around!

IMG_1687 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

IMG_1687 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

IMG_1687 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

We just enjoyed the pure joy they had in that moment, dancing in one of there favorite princesses "kingdom" Dancing jsut like Rapunzel did. They loved it! It was silly. Nothing we could have planned. But yet, one of my very favorite moments from ALL of our trips. They thought they were princesses in that moment! It was magical.

The bathrooms were brand new, I guess. And the posters had literally been hung out like 2 days earlier. (I found this out later)

Andy asked the girls to pose in front of one of the posters.
IMG_1687 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Probably because Morgan was inspecting Rapunzels' art work...

IMG_1687 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
And this tradition was born! Of course we didn't know it at the time... My sister said that this photo looks like an album cover for the two of them.

IMG_1687 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
An out-take of the sassy ness of these two back in the day...

These wigs... also got lots and lots of attention the whole trip. Everyone asked where we got them. My mom crocheted them for the girls, and they used to wear them all the time!

We did eventually leave the area, and headed to find the Carpet ride.

Magic Carpets by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Waiting there turn.

Magic Carpets by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
And this ride has never been so magical. It was almost dusk. And Gwen sang "It's a Whole New World" the whole time we were on the ride! She loved every minute of it.

magic carpets by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

After that, it was time to call it a night!
SO Tired by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

We walked out of the park in the MOST direct way possible...

Tianna by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Somehow we ended up walking past Tianna's meet n greet... (I don't know....)

Castle by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

IMG_1746 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
We took a couple castle shots on the way out.

And then hustled to the monorail. I had one more thing on the adgenda for the evening!

Electrical Parade by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
I wanted to see the Water Parade! I remember we got off at the TTC and Andy ran with with stroller so we wouldn't miss it. And the girls got out of the strollers at the beach edge and ran to the water!

IMG_0126 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

IMG_0126 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
We made it just in time to watch from the beach!

And that capped off our night! We headed back to the room and straight to bed!

Looking back it was a memorable day! I still remember how excitied the girls were for meeting princesses and how they loved just dancing in the courtyard area. It was a perfect 2nd day!

Up Next Tomorrow... Chef Mickey and a Magic Kingdom Day!

Wow those pictures From CRT are precious! Those faces... wow!!
I can imagine how this got you hooked! it really is wonderful when they get this magical interaction with the « real » characters!

To a happy bubba (as we called her back then)
I just showed this pic to Casey to see if she knew who it was. Took her a minute but the hair finally led her to Gwen

s adults, we hated the balloon after a few days of it tied to the double stroller and hitting us in the head. But it was a nice disney magic touch!
Oh I hated those dang balloons and Casey loved them. She always wanted to take them back on the plane but we explained that all kids have to let them go before returning home so they can go back to MK for another kid. That worked but then apparently I learned that is bad for animals and the environment. Oops. At least the balloon didn't have to go home with me :D

The girls underwhelmed by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
Nope. They kind of had this underwhelmed first look. I think part of it was that it had taken so long to get there and they really didn't know what to expect.
Now those are not the faces you think you are going to get as soon as you arrive.

And it think our end destination was The Little Mermaid Ride. But there was a super long wait, as it was fairly new. I think we located the fast pass machine and were able to get a fast pass for later in the day.
How in the heck are you remembering all of this???? I barely know what I did yesterday

49986262936_afa4e1cb97_z.jpg
Oh Morgan's sweet face is that pure and utter joy that can only come from a kid.

And Gwen WAS OBSESSED WITH IT!!!! She literally talked about Donald fishing a Boot ALL....... THE ....... TIME.....
Isn't it strange what they end up obsessing over. For Casey it was a fake door in the boneyard that she called the rascal door. We heard about it incessantly. And when she told people about Disney that was about all she could talk about

So, we painfully paid out of pocket for a second kids meal.... which at the time I want to say was $50!
Yikes!!!! Of course that is what we paid for CG Brunch for Casey. I just drank $50 worth of mimosa's to make up for it :drinking1

Aurora by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
We call this the picture where Morgan almost exploded with excitiement!
Now that is what made those trips so special with the little ones

She is way too cute with that wig!

It really is those moments you could never plan that make Disney trips so memorable.

Loving the look back! Cinderella's Royal Table is really something special. Jimmy's first favorite character was Cinderella, so we booked lunch there for his 2nd birthday, which we celebrated on his very first trip. The pictures from that meal are still among my most favorite Disney trip pics because that awe and wonder on his little face at seeing the princesses is just incredible. I get all teary-eyed just thinking about it!!

Wow those pictures From CRT are precious! Those faces... wow!!
I can imagine how this got you hooked! it really is wonderful when they get this magical interaction with the « real » characters!
We took ALOT of reaction shots of the girls this first trip! And one of the things that I think about with having to wear masks in the park. You miss out on some of that.

I just showed this pic to Casey to see if she knew who it was. Took her a minute but the hair finally led her to Gwen
Ha! That curly hair always gives her away!

Now those are not the faces you think you are going to get as soon as you arrive
Nope, it wasn't. But they were so tired. And there faces later make up for its.

How in the heck are you remembering all of this???? I barely know what I did yesterday
I have NO IDEA!!! But the amount of pictures I took, help. And this day was particularly memorable one!

Oh Morgan's sweet face is that pure and utter joy that can only come from a kid.
This face makes up for the one seeing Cinderellas Castle for the first time.

Looks like a magical day !
It really was!

I think just looking at those photos prove why you guys became a Disney family! So many awesome memories and the girls were just in awe!
Ha! You are probably right!

So precious! I remember our first trip with the kids and I didn’t even know about autographs! I learned quickly and got Andi a book for all the meets!
I loved those books! They were a HUGE Pain to carry around but the girls would read them at night for a very long time. So, we got our $$$ out of them.

These updates are making my eyes leak... so precious!
I hope in a good way!

The pictures from that meal are still among my most favorite Disney trip pics because that awe and wonder on his little face at seeing the princesses is just incredible. I get all teary-eyed just thinking about it!!
Do you have any pictures you can share? I would love to see tiny Jimmy!

Day Two: Magic Kingdom

Today we woke up and caught Gwen snuggling with Morgan's bear!
IMG_1762

It was too cute!
IMG_1761
Of course this is why Morgan hates sharing a bed with Gwen. She STILL snuggles with anyone in bed with her.

IMG_1764
Looks like Morgan got up first and discovered there gifts from Tinkerbell. You can see a tiny bit of the shirts in the corner of the bed. (don't worry you will see them on them soon enough)

IMG_1765
Morgan informing Gwen of the gifts from Tinkerbell. (Also, our room looks like a war zone! Yikes!)

We got ready for the day and headed to the Contemporary for breakfast today. We had a morning reservation at Chef Mickey.

The only thing I remember about getting there, was we had a hard time finding the elevators and knowing which floor to go to. And I feel like everytime an elevator came it already had a stroller in it.

But we got there!
IMG_1767
And before long we were meeting characters. Pluto was first!

IMG_1773

I remember this being a little hectic, with the girls being so little, we had to take turns getting up to get food and make sure we were at the table for the characters and have the girls books at the right page.

IMG_1767
Donald came soon after.

IMG_1778
And then Goofy.

IMG_1767
I don't know why but I love that Gwen is just holding a Mickey Waffle while hanging out with Goofy.

These were the first non-face characters they were meeting, and I wasn't sure how they were going to do. IMG_1767
Clearly they did ok.

IMG_1767

IMG_1767
They were def looking forward to Minnie the most!

IMG_1767

And last but not least, MICKEY!
IMG_1767

It was a good breakfast. I don't remember anything about the food. But that probably says something about Chef Mickey. I do remember that Morgan was BEYOND excitied that there was a dessert table at Breakfast. I think we grabbed some of that on the way out!

We were headed to Magic Kingdom today.

Day Two: Magic Kingdom

So, it looks like we headed to Splash Mountain first. Gwen was too short for Splash and Big Thunder. We had decided to not really use the rider swap. We wanted to let Gwen do some things that she would enjoy and not just have to wait around. It worked for us.

It looks like Morgan and I went on Splash. And Andy took Gwen on the Caroseul I think.
IMG_1808
You can see us in the bottom right corner.

IMG_1808
I am pretty sure she liked it.

After, Andy took Morgan on Big Thunder Mountain, and Gwen and I did some shopping. (Yes at 2 shopping was already "fun") And I think we went on the Caroseul AGAIN.

IMG_0171
And we spent A LONG time looking at this fountain. Gwen was memorized by it! She still makes us stop and look at it for a minute, still!

We some how met back up and did some stuff that we could all do. I am sure we did some stuff that we didn't document? Maybe...

Fairy Tale hall was still under construction, but we checked out the pictures on the construction walls.
IMG_0171

IMG_0171

We must have made our way over to Storytime Circus area. As my next pictures of Morgan playing in the Casey's Train area.
IMG_0171
We have a GIANT amount of photos of her running around and having a grand old time in the water....

And then there was Gwen....
IMG_0171
At this time, she HATED getting her head wet, so she had no intrest in going in. But how sad does she look... And you can't even see her face. Poor gal.

Looks like eventually we dragged Morgan away from the splash area and went on another ride.
IMG_0178

Barnstormer! Gwen was JUST tall enough for this. And it was her first rollercoaster!

IMG_0178
This picture cracks me up... She is so tiny, she doesn't even know what she is waiting for!

IMG_0178

IMG_0178
The 2 wet ones...

I believe Gwen loved the ride.

Not sure if we did anything else, but my next pictures have us heading out of the park for some naps! We caught a parade on our way out.

IMG_1843
I think we stashed the stroller in a nook on the way out and watched some of it from like the 5th row back. But the girls were happy with it!

IMG_1843
They got to wave at some of there favorite characters. And we headed out!

Day Two: Be Our Guest DinnerD

We went back to the room and def napped. We had a late dinner reservation today, so we had time to rest up. Well, at least it was a late dinner for the girls!

I believe we had some really hard rain this day while we rested. And worked out well that we were already planning on resting.

It was still drizzling when we needed to head back out.
IMG_0182
So, we saw Pooh and Tigger with umbrellas!

Just like the girls!
IMG_0182

IMG_0182

The plan was to do Enchanted Tales with Belle before going to dinner.

this might have been the only time we have waited stand by for this. But I loved the details in the cottage!
IMG_1852

IMG_1852

IMG_1859
It was a long wait. Possibly one of the longest for us so far on the trip?

But it was so worth it! I loved the Mirror / door transformation.
IMG_1859

The girls got parts!
IMG_1870
Morgan got a "real" part of Mrs. Potts. And Gwen got a supporting roll of a Fork and Spoon.

IMG_1870
Morgan loved being "in" the show.

IMG_1873

They both got to meet Belle at the end of course;
IMG_1873

IMG_1873 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

I loved this! For there age, this was a great experience! I think this sold me a bit on the Disney magic. I know it isn't high on most people's lists and I feel like you don't see it much in people's trip reports. But I love it.

After Enchanted Tales with Belle, we must have gone into the gift store by Gaston's.. because the girls got these somewhere...
IMG_1918
Or maybe we went to a store on the way in? But I know we were on the hunt for ANYTHING Jasime and Aurora as they were hard to find princesses at home.

So, they were super happy with the dolls. And played with them while we waited on the bridge to go in for dinner at Be Our Guest. At this point in time, this was THE HOT reservation to get. And I was super excited to check it out.

IMG_1941
I didn't post too much on facebook while we were here, but I did post this picture while we waited. I also remember having to wait a little bit. But the rain had stopped, so we had that going for us.

IMG_1941
We got to see the beast! Which every time he would come out, some of the people would get REALLY excited and cheer. Like almost toooo excitied almost..

Dinner was excellent. We didn't LOVE it like some people did at this time. But it was good. It def felt fancy for the girls. No pictures of food...

Except dessert!
IMG_1941
We all really loved that they brought the desserts over in the cart.

IMG_1941

IMG_1941

IMG_1941

After we ate, we wondered around and checked out the Beast's room. And I again was memorized by the rose!
IMG_1941

And the picture.
IMG_1941
But I do remember it feeling weird looking at the stuff with people eating a "fancy" meal right next to wear you were standing.

We sent to go meet the Beast after dinner.
IMG_1941
Oh poor Gwen.. I mean look how tiny she was in comparison to the Beast...

IMG_1547
He tried to dance with Gwen since she had on a belle dress. And... well... it ... didn't go well....

IMG_1547
She cried and cried and cried.

IMG_1547
The Beast did try to make her happy but there was no coming back from it.

IMG_1547
So, here is our "official" photo with the beast.

Pretty sure we hit the rest room before leaving. And grabbed a family photo on the way out.
IMG_1547

It was VERY late for the girls when we were done. When we came out, the Main Street Electrical Parade was going on. So, we tried to get a peek or 2 of it. I personally didn't see much of anything. And we made our way out of the park. As the girls needed to go to bed.

It was another great day. Not as memorable as yesterday. But still a good day.

Do you have any pictures you can share? I would love to see tiny Jimmy!
I have to see if I can get some more of the pics onto this computer, but here's a crappy picture of a picture for now! This is my absolute favorite Disney picture of Jimmy.
20190111_123020

We love Enchanted Tales with Belle! Jimmy still likes to have a part in the show, and always tries to get Rob to be one of the suits of armor :) No luck so far, but there's always next time!! (He got me roped into being the footstool on our first time through, LOL!)

Joining in! Omg look how little the girls were!

What a fun first day at MK! You got a taste of everything- rides, character meet, and the castle show!

Omg I remember those statues at AK!! They were so cute!

Ahh the beginning of the tinkerbell gifts!

The girls looked so happy at CRT!

The following day at MK sounded so fun. You could tell it was very magical for the girls!

I love all your trip reports, but this one is my favorite since it is so cute to see the girls so little! I can see why they love Disney so much, that first trip seems really magical so far!
Thanks for following along with all of my trip reports!!! This one is def fun to go back in time and remember!

I just love Morgan's curls with that haircut! I know this is bed head, but still super cute!
I loved it short but she almost always wants it long. :(

I swear, I still see Morgan making this face in current photos!
Probably! Some things don't change!

We love Enchanted Tales with Belle! Jimmy still likes to have a part in the show, and always tries to get Rob to be one of the suits of armor :) No luck so far, but there's always next time!! (He got me roped into being the footstool on our first time through, LOL!)
I LOOOOOOVE it!!! That face!!!

Joining in! Omg look how little the girls were!
Welcome!!!! Glad you are here!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

This really has been a great way to get me back into things here on the boards. I am ready to plow through the August trip after I am done with this fun little experiement!

I hope everyone is doing well during all of this! The girls have one more week of school. We will see if they actually have work to do this week or not! I for one am ready for school to be over! Of course no camp to go to will def bring new challenges for sure. But I am ready for no more school work to be trying to help with.

Day Three: Hollywood Studios

So, today is where I think my memory starts to get really hazy!!!! @kastoney There are a few memories from this day, but there is def some holes!

So, I have no pictures of us in the room or waking up. Nothing about breakfast or when we may have finally left the room.... none of that. But my guess is, that I walked down with our cups, filled those up grabbed something to eat in the room and brought it all back. I do remember I bought milk, cereal and paper bowls this trip to eat cereal in the AM. (It was the first and last time I did that) It def helped but I don't think we ate all of it.

I also assume we got to Hollywood Studios fairyl close to rope drop. I do remotely remember that when we did get to the park, we knew to go straight to Toy Story Mania to get a paper fast pass. Which I know we got one!

So, I have to assume after we got a fast pass we headed to Disney Junior Live!
IMG_1987
Exciting right!

IMG_1988
At this point in time, they were still puppets. Which I did like. From where we sat, the scale seemed natural. And Gwen was a HUGE Doc McStuffins fan at this point in time.

IMG_1988

IMG_1988
There was also Sophia the first. Which both girls really liked.

It was a cute show. I know the girls loved it. They loved the bubbles that came out of the sky and all of it. And I knwo as adults we hate sitting on that floor, but I think for kids, it's a was to feel a little freedom. Chairs tend to be too big for them. GRANTED.... we have only done this show 1 other time. It is truely for little kids and ONLY little kids.

So, this is where I am really not sure what happend. My next pictures are of us getting lunch. Now, I am pretty sure we ate lunch early, like 11:00 early this day. But I am not sure if we did other things in between the show and eating. Or if we didn't get to the park at rope drop or what...

But regardless, THIS trip report has us walking across the park to get lunch at Pizza Planet!!!

The girls were HUGE Toy Story fans, and we knew that this was a must stop for lunch. We knew that the food was just ok. But we had little kids and it was pizza.

IMG_2013
Pizza Planet is now gone, of course... And I will say, that isn't surprising. We were fairly disapointed.

IMG_2013
This place felt like you were at Chuckie Cheese not a super cool Pizza and game place.

I remember the food was fine as best. But the girls ate it and were happy.

And we played a few games.
IMG_2013
Skee Ball is always a favorite! But I dobn't think they even did tickets, so you couldn't win a prize or anything. And I do remember that Morgan REALLY wanted to do the claw game. Cause I mean in the movies they seemed to alwasy get a prize. Yeah, that eneded badly. She cried and was so sad.

After, I had said to Andy they should just make a claw game that you were garenteed a plush. And just make the cost what ever the plush is. Parents would have totatly paid it. I know we would have in that moment.

Normally this is where I would say don't bother going to Pizza Planet... But it's no longer, so no point.

We checked out the fountain on our way out. But I don't think we saw the show. I have tried to get the girls into the muppets MANY times, and it just doesn't connect with them. Sad...

But that is ok, because we had a goal in mind.

We wanted to meet Woody and Buzz!
IMG_2031
This meet and great is where you can meet Edna Mode right now. And they had the wait area set up with photo ops. And the girls really got into them while we waited. (which the wait felt like forever!)

Not the CLAW!!!

IMG_2031
Gwen wasn't tall enough. Ha.

IMG_2031
Isn't she the cutest Posable Action Figure?

HELP, We're trapped!

To Infinity and Beyond!

IMG_2031
Oh no! We are going to Japan!

They really crammed these into that small space. But it helkped keep the girls occupied as we waited.

But we eventually made it to the front of the line and got to meet Buzz and Woody!

I feel like the girls had asked them something super cute. But for the life of me have no idea what it was...

Next we went and saw the Little Mermaid Show.

IMG_2067
The girls liked it. And honestly for that age, the length of the show was probably perfect.

I think after this we got a treat on the way over to the Beauty and the Beast show.

I think at this point hte girls were getting tired already but we were trying to make it till out Toy Story Mania Fast pass.

Pretty sure they loved this! We were pretty far away but it was fine for us.
