Deleting posts

If you delete a post, does it bump the old thread back to the top? Can you just delete the entire post, or do you have to type something in the blank field for it to work? Thanks

You can edit your own post but there does need to be “something” remaining. Usually posters will just leave a period. If it’s an older thread editing an existing post will not bump it - however someone coming across that thread may post if the thread no longer makes sense due to the removed info, which will bump it.
