Hi everyone!

I'm still waiting to hear from Tim on our private room. Brian has designed some avatars for us:

I haven't tried yet to see if they work when plugged into the avatar space, but he could probably adjust it. He put our real names on them (those that he knew) but if you'd prefer, we could put screennames.

So far, he's got Amy, Kimmy, Linda, Maria, himself and me. We don't know your names, Mom to a Princess and kupiecb.

When we get our "room" we can post emails, AIM's and any other info that people might not be comfy sharing in a public forum. Keep checking back here a couple of times a day--I'll put any news here until our room is ready.

And in answer to your last question, we don't really have any assigned tasks yet, but we will by Thursday or Friday. We were just trying to get a logo going for our team. If you know anything about how to make avatars POSTABLE, let Brian or me know!! (I just tried, and it doesn't accept the one he designed).

For some reason to use the avatar you have to select upload and not link to it on the web. I did that and it worked. So you can save the avatar with your name to your computer and upload it in the avatar section (http://disboards.com/profile.php?do=editavatar) of the user cp (bottom of the page).

I took the idea that Amy came up with for Mickey and created another logo idea. Let me know what you think.

Hey Brian!

As you can see, I finally got the avatar to work. I had to switch over to Safari from AOL, which causes me so many problems on my Mac! I was going to switch services soon, but with this game going, I didn't want my email info lost in the shuffle!

Anyway, I LOVE your logo, too!! Choices, choices...

Is there any way we can have Mickey holding a LIST with all of our user names on it?

What do the rest of you think? I'm SO impressed with Amy's and Brian's skills already!!!!

Thanks for making the decision to go with Brian's! I didn't want anyone to get rejected, and there were pieces of both of yours that I liked. You definitely made it easier!!!!!

Thanks so much, Brian! Wow! That page of graphics is awesome!

As the lone man on our team, you've already won all of our hearts.

Don't worry too much about the holding the list idea, if you don't have time. I think it looks great the way it is, too! Also, if you could incorporate cheerleaders or the word cheerleader into the graphic, some supporters might like that option. I've noticed other teams are gathering cheerleaders and making logos for them already!

I pm'ed Kimmy, Danelle, Maria and Kupiecb and told them to email you for their individual avatars before I saw your graphics website. Sorry, I hope that's okay. Maria said she might have to change her screenname, too, so be ready for that.

For some reason, I can't get my name tag to be my avatar. When I past the address into the box, I get this message:

The uploaded file is not a valid GIF, JPG, or PNG file. Please ensure that it is and try again.

What am I doing wrong???
