Has anyone purchased a manufactured home when relocating to Disney?

Has anyone either purchased, or considered purchasing, a manufactured home in a mobile home community when relocating to FL? I'm interested in any input you may have. Thank you!

Never. I would never buy a home, where I didn't own the land. I'm not paying for my home and then rent for the land that can keep going up.

A group of friends considered purchasing in a 55+ community. It never panned out but I wouldn’t be opposed to it

I would have a problem with construction and current hurricane codes.

If you do check manufacturers and get reviews from the past 20 years of their construction. We have lived in 2 manufactured homes. Also check communities for any legal drama with the town.
