"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2015 Thread - Rockin' Around the Cinderella Castle!

So excited for MVMCP! Because of the schedule changes with MNSSHP, I'm thinking that I should plan around those parade and firework times for MVMCP as well. Anyone have any thoughts? Would that be a good idea?
I'm guessing they changed the schedule this year to accommodate the new Hallowishes Dessert Party. As the regular fireworks dessert party is already offered on MVMCP nights, not sure anything will change this year for the Christmas party.

I'm working on my son's autograph book and I was wondering when the characters are announced that will be at the party - is it announced in advance, or do we just have to wait for the first few people to attend the party and report back?
The first Halloween party is in one week, and the schedule was released today. However, character info may be known earlier than that, especially if they are adding anyone new to the lineup. Otherwise, you are probably safe going off last year's info.

I was reading another thread and one of the posters mentioned that some characters do not sign autographs at the parties. The 2 examples given were Snow White and the 7 Dwarves and Cinderella's entire family. Is this because those groups are so large or do other meet and greets not do signatures during the parties? I'm specifically interested in the princesses and their princes. I believe there's a group of 3 couples that meet together that includes Rapunzel and Flynn? I just wanted to know ahead of time if autographs were not possible, so I could let my kids know they will just be meeting and not signing. Thanks!

Last year I believe only the dwarfs and Sandy Claws did not sign. As far as I know, the princes/princesses sign.

We don't have our tickets yet, but I just got the days off approved so that will be happening soon. DB and I will be attending the Nov 15th party, our first time! I've been to DLR at Christmas time but there's no party there. We're planning on checking out the Osborne lights on the 14th, then the Countries around the world the morning of the party before hopping to MK around 4.

Will you please add us for the 12/8 party? I'm debating going to the 12/6 party too but that's our arrival day.

Not a good idea IMHO- get 'em while you can, especially if it is a weekend event

I think your right time to bite the bullet and get those tickets!

2 Parties Dec. 15th and the 17th, My DS with special needs is watching Belle's Enchanted Christmas as I type. Christmas all year at my house haha

We have an extra child's ticket for the November 20th MVMCP...this young lady is now unable to make the trip with us. Can we exchange it for another party next year, get a refund or have we lost our money? :tink:

Our only chance to go to the party is on opening night, 11/8. Will it be crazy busy because it is the first one and also a marathon weekend?

They're are a limited number of tickets sold to each party. Even if it's a sell- out, it will still be less crowded than a busy day in MK.

is a Thursday night better than a Friday night? We have a reservation at CRT on a Friday at 5:30 the night of a party. What happens after dinner, will we be escorted out of the park immediately. I'm not trying to double dip or buck the system, just wondering b/c by my calculation we will get out right about parade time.

Weeknights are usually less crowded than weekends.

And yes, a CM will escort you out of the park following your reservation if you do not have party tickets that night.

For those of you watched the parade in front of the train station how early did you have to find a spot for a sold out party Thanks!!

I'm still debating about buying tix... We didn't love the mnshp, is it better? I just felt like it was a lot of waiting in line for candy, waiting for the parade, etc.

I hate to miss it, but need to make sure we spend our vacation savings the right way!

I went ahead & bought our tickets... 12/15! I hope we enjoy it more than our last MNSSHP... it was sold out & so packed & not fun at all. With it being the last week of the party I figure it'll probably be sold out... one site I went to predicted that whole week we are there would sell out.

I have tix the 15th and 17th I know they will both be sold out but as long as you have a strategy you should be okay. Just keeping mind people around the hub got in place as soon as 2 hrs before parade time for the first parade. That's my biggest worry so I think I'm just going to do the train station instead.
