FYI- I will be back either tomorrow or Wednesday to do an update about my birthday weekend! I have been so busy with work and school that I haven't been up to DISing but I promise an update within the next two days!

Ugh life has been so hectic lately! Between work and school I have been beat so I am pretty late in putting this post up

Last weekend was my birthday and on Saturday we celebrated by going to one of my favorite places the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village

Before we stepped inside the actual museum Josh and Dad needed to be goofy

Some pictures from their Wizard of Oz exhibit (this was the main reason I wanted to go)

This was Josh's first time since he was little at the Henry Ford museum and he really enjoyed it!

Some pictures of their diner signs which is currently being renovated into an actual diner! I am so excited for this new area to open!

After the museum we went to Greenfield Village and no one was there! Which gave me tons of picture opportunities!

We are trying to figure out what those green things are because they didn't look like leaves and if they are then they are some weird type of leaf so if anyone knows fill me in!

I tried to take a lot of pictures of my mom and dad since we never seem to get pictures of them!

After browsing around a bit Josh and I decided that one thing an about to be 21 year old and a 26 year old should do is....ride the carousel!

I then decided my mom and dad needed a photo shoot!

I also love these! These are seriously probably the best "people" pictures I have ever taken!

Next up it was mine and Josh's turn!

We headed out and were all pretty exhausted!

I was supposed to go out with Josh and couple of friends for midnight drinks but I decided I was too beat so we were just going to go to a local bar with my parents at midnight. My mom, Josh and I all laid down around 10 to take naps ( I know we are all party people!) and around 11 I woke up and woke up mom and Josh around 11:50. We all went to Ashley's and counted down to midnight with our favorite waitress.

It wouldn't be a birthday without presents and here is what my mom and dad got me!

I also got a Magic Kingdom shot glass and a coffee mug with Mickey on it and a quote from Walt Disney about growing up.

I thought the Disney stuff would be appropriate to put in the TR. After we all went to bed we woke up early went to church and then went out with my grandparents. I got a Disney gift card and ordered this stuff.

I got this to commemorate mine and Josh's first Christmas together

I plan on wearing the necklace for the wedding if it works with my dress The only issue is it broke while I was taking it out of the package so I had to email Disney and ask them for a new one.

That night we went out for margaritas and here I am with my free tequila shot

My birthday was perfect!! I got great gifts and spent time with all the people I love!

Now this past weekend we reached 11 months till our wedding and are in the process of booking our resort! We will be staying at the Boardwalk!!!! It is my favorite resort so I am super excited! We will be right near Epcot with Food and Wine and I really want to check out Jellyrolls! We also finalized our flower order and I am super excited about that as well! And my mom got her mother of the bride dress!!!! She looks gorgeous!!

It is pretty awesome I hear a Lapu Lapu and a Grey Goose Slushie calling my name! They are I got the confirmation email this morning

I am so excited! We have stayed there once before and out of all the places we have stayed BC included Boardwalk is my fave! She does!
