Job? Oh yeah, that thing that pays for me to go to Disney! LOL. Actually, I adore my job, but it's a little overwhelming at the moment so I pop on and off the Dis to rest my brain between projects.

It keeps me engaged and since I have this thread on my favorites bar, I can pop right to it in seconds.

I just realized, though that some of the people I interact most often on this board aren't going to be there the same time as my crew.

I spent all Sunday morning trying to convince my best friend that she and her DH and son should come to Disney while we are there! Her son and my daughter are 6 months apart and are good friends that don't get to see each other enough these days! My friend got married and moved 2 hours to St. Louis to be with the husband...

She didn't think it would be wise to pull her son out of school though because he's had some behavioral issues and the school administration was pissy when she took him out for a half day last quarter for a trip!

The kiddo is 8 years old and not a bad child. His temperment is very emotional and sensitive though and he has a tendency to lose control of his temper...and then that becomes the focus not whatever it was that set him off ( a child calling him a name or someone pushing him, etc.) Ah well.

It would be so much fun if they could come. Her DH and mine get along well and would have a good time together and picturing the look on Meredith's face if she and her friend just happened to meet on the plane or in the airport would be priceless.

We are heading back to Pop Century Sept 5-14.
It will be my three kids ( ages 8, 11, & 14) and I and my sister and her dd. This will be my sister and her dd's first visit, I can't wait for them to see the magic for themselves.
We will be there for my late husband's birthday and the 2nd year anniversary of his death. I could not think of a better place to be for both those days.
