Hello everyone! I've been MIA for so long and there are all these new names I don't know! It was quite a surprise to pop in and see a thread I started!

Any hoo, I would have been 40 weeks on Saturday just passed, however Audrey Suzanne Maher decided to make her appearance on May 5th 2013 - 6 whole weeks early!

So after spending a few weeks in NICU as a premie baby, she was finally allowed to come home then in what seemed like no time at all we had to go back in as she had developed some really nasty sores on her face which we were worried was either cold sores, or hand foot and mouth disease.

So after getting an IV in her hand the poor little munchkin spent an entire week on my chest

Luckily it turned out to be neither, but they still don't know what it was. We got home again on Wednesday, and since then we've been working on getting her to sleep any where but on my chest

I can't wait until she's old enough to take to Bibbity Boppity Boutique!

She is just beautiful Bec. Congratulations. May the drama be behind you, may she learn to sleep somewhere other than your chest although one day you will wish those moments back. Looking forward to a trip report of her first Disney visit. Enjoy.

Adding my congratulations-she's beautiful. Sorry for the bumpy beginnings but hopefully all behind you. Friends last year had a VERY premmy bubs-31 weeks I think it was-but apart from several hiccups in those early weeks she is doing well 1 year on-still tiny but perfect. I agree come 3 years old and perfect for BBB!! (though I picture her as an adorable fairy rather than a princess)-of course you realise she's probably going to be a contrary and decide to love Toy Story or Cars instead! Lol.
