Nothing. I'm sicker than I was yesterday. DH went to a dinner party without me and I just now got out of bed and made a cup of tea.
Bless you...that's so touching! I can still close my eyes and smell my Grandma's fried chicken. What I wouldn't give to have another meal at her table.Last night was dinner out with friends... German restaurant a few miles away. I literally cried eating it, as it was so reminiscent of being in my grandma's house. The decor, the smells, the sounds, and definitely the taste. It was beyond what I needed.
I had walleye with red cabbage, spaetzel, bread dumplings, Cole slaw. Insanely good.
Hope you feel better today.Nothing. I'm sicker than I was yesterday. DH went to a dinner party without me and I just now got out of bed and made a cup of tea.
Love that you included actual recipe. So nice!
In honor of your shepard’s pie!Tonight I'm going to try to make Sheppard's Pie for the first time. I'll need all the luck I can get.
I’m so sorry and hope you feel better soon.Nothing. I'm sicker than I was yesterday. DH went to a dinner party without me and I just now got out of bed and made a cup of tea.
Nothing as fancy as Covid for me...just a head-cold with lots of sinus snot. Next-to-nothing for chest congestion, thankfully. The thing is, I've barely had a hang-nail since 2020; I've been extremely lucky. I'd forgotten how common the common cold used to be, and how temporarily miserable.I’m so sorry and hope you feel better soon.
Went to a church convention last week and SO many attendees now have Covid. 2 adult daughters are negative but feel really crumby.
Wow there’s a lot of ‘junk’ going around. Again.
Feel better…..
I hate to report that I forgot to purchase some of the ingredients so I had to postpone my first one. I'll update once I actually get it made.In honor of your shepard’s pie!
