I've asked this over on Trip Advisor and apparently I'm not asking the right question or using the correct words so thought I would try over here.
We are going to LV in September. I've heard tennis shoes are a must for walking around but I've heard that they won't cut it at night in some places. We are 50+ and are not interested in the club scene. We might though like to go to a bar that has outdoor seating (if there is one) and people watch.
My DH will probably wear jeans all day w/tennis shoes. I'll imagine I'll wear capris (maybe jean material) and a blouse with tennis shoes.
We are not planning on taking dress (church) clothes. I might take a pair of khaki pants and loafers, plus a pair of Keen sandals.
So, where will we be welcome in the evenings in our daytime attire? I know not to even try the upscale restaurants or club scene. I know out on the street would be okay. How about in the casinos? Or places like Marguaritaville?
