Today is DS BDay so I definately won't be able to ketchup, but did want to say HI! After the great Birthday festivities I'll check in again! I can't wait to give DS the following:

So we get this FRANTIC phone call from our old neighbors across the street on Sunday. "There are people in your house!" huh? We (finally) got an offer on our house, made a counter offer and struck a deal! It's been on the market since late November. I shouldn't complain, other houses in our old neighborhood were on the market long before ours...and still are! Closing is slated for Feb 28.

Anyway, the problem is that now that the house is under contract, NOBODY should be in there!! There shouldn't be any open houses and certainly no other real estate agents should be using the lockbox to get in! ***?!?! We had a $200 gas/electric bill for an EMPTY HOUSE last in December because some

decided to turn the thermostat up to 80 degrees!!!!!!

So now I'm thinking "great, we got squatters or something" (it's happened to my dad). Call our realtor and she's not answering her cell phone Finally get ahold of her assistant and she knows NOTHING about anything.... Meanwhile, our DFriend and neighbor--who is a one-woman Neighborhood Watch--is all set to call a SWAT team on these people!

Today I get a call from both the office manager at the real estate office and our relocation officer...
THEY CLOSED ON THE HOUSE EARLY!!!!!


Evidently the buyers and their bank were ready to go early and contacted Relocation and our realtor. But "early" was Feb 20...but since all the title reports were done and everything was clear, they decided to proceed even earlier (the moment the offer was accepted, Relocation "bought" the house from us) because there was no reason to wait! So what happened was our agent got a call from their agent wanting the keys to the house! Our agent didn't realize that the deal was done until they verified with the title company that yep, transaction is complete, title deed reissued and funding was done in 24 hours...it's a done deal!!!!!

That is great news!

The funny thing for me, I don't recall any of the bands from our first two cruises. I assume that means, to me, they were unremarkable. NTWINE was remarkable, in a bad way. The best my wife could say was 'well, they are enthusiastic'.

If we hadn't been in RbD waiting for the caberet show, we probably wouldn't have listened to their whole set.

Funny you should say that. I just asked DH what he remembered about the bands. All he could recall of High Frequency is what he can hear in our sail-away video. However, he clearly recalled NTWINE messing up "Celebration".

LOL! Thank DH for letting me know I was not imagining that.

Never had the displeasure of hearing XOP but the bartender in RBD did tell me that they were much worse when I told her that I felt sorry for her having to listen to them every night.

That's how my youngest refers to spaghetti and my "know it all/bossyman in training" always tries to correct her and I'm all like LEAVE HER ALONE, I like her to still have SOME baby words. *pout* She's my last baby. I call it sketty too, dangit. LOL

Well I think what you will see that I am referring too you will like alot ....Okay , I will say this but it will be in white , so those who want to see the somewhat spoiler will have to highlight to make it readable ...

Lets just say that Jack is stuck in purgatury(Davey Jones Locker) and being there brings out all your different personality traits , which for Jack could be all kinds of different Jacks, now can you see all the conversations going on between mulitple Jacks? and thats as far as I am going to go , I will give out no more details to this part ..LOL

Well that's just silly. There have been TONS of movies done where a person was made like an exact twin or talking to themselves or what have you and they've used technology to have them on the screen at the same time.They had to have a stand in to do this for POTC?

Shelley, has your DH been to see a chiropractor yet? I was sceptical at first but am living proof that the right one can work miracles when it comes to neck & back pain.

My sister swears by her chiropractor too. However, this is not neck or back pain.. it's deep in the shoulder joint pain- not in the back... like in the joint of the shoulder where it meets the arm. KWIM? And it's more of an inflammed tissue/tendon/muscle issue than bone issue.

About 10,000 posts back we were talking about fancy McDonalds. We went ot breakfast yesterday and I had my camera with me, so here is one of our local McD's, it's a jazz theme. They will soon have specialitiy coffees. Cappicinos (sp?) $1.79.

Very nice McD's! We have had the specialty coffees here for quite a while. I think that we ended up being involved in the test market phase somehow. They are MUCH more than 1.79.

Well, I just caught up, and now in a few minutes I have to take over the girls for seperate Girl Scout meetings... that figures! I'm eternally behind now... and I'm sure I'm not the only one! I think the only people not behind, are those that are not really reading all the posts to catch up! It can be the only way they aren't behind. Either that or they spend every waking moment on this thread.

Both our girls started getting their teeth early which meant that they lost them early. Madison got her braces on when she was 10 since she already had her 12 yr molars. My youngest is 6 and she already has lost 10 baby teeth with at least 6-8 permanent teeth have come in. Her mouth is a mess. She has all of these big teeth in such a small mouth. She will probably get her braces on by the time she is 8-9.

I ended up with braces in 7th grade because my perminant teeth wouldn't come in & they didn't want the rest of them to move around too much. I have a small jaw & had two perminant teeth removed to make room for the rest. After 4 years of waiting involving lots of pains, I finally insisted that they go into my gums & pull the bottom teeth thru and attach the braces to them. I was not going to have my Senior pictures taken with them on. It turned out that there was a thin layer of bone blocking them. Once that was cut out & the teeth moved closer to the surface, they came in fairly quickly. They came off after 5 years.

I think this may be why they pulled some baby teeth, waited for permanent teeth to come in and then pulled some of them (because of the same problem mentioned above- big teeth/very small narrow mouth... believe it or not LOL) before giving me braces. I think if they'd waited for those to come out on their own, it would have taken forever! As it was- I was still in braces till my senior yr in highschool and had retainers (yes, plural... semi-permanent retainer on bottom teeth) when I graduated. That's with pulling teeth out early to get the braces on! My teeth were a mess. .

OH MY!!!! It is scarey how much we & our kids have in common!
