Where is your Christening Sallie?

I am right now trying to talk/convince myself to go walking at Gateway Beach (2 mins. from me) - I usually go on Wed. mornings when I am off - which is definitely not enogh.

Then trying to go to Nordstrom at the Woodbridge or Menlo Park Mall in NJ (for dd's graduation dress). Will spend late afternoon, eve. with my parents - they live two blocks away and I need to get off the compter when I have five minutes to stop by there.

Ariana's Catering Hall in New Dorp Plaza... it s at 3- you should come and meet us if you live close... my cousins woulnt mind at all!!!!!

Dont forget Short Hills Mall... my favorite !! We live 5 min from Roosevelt Field Mall if you dont have luck- you could shop and then come for dinner

Have fun at the Christening. We had a communion yesterday and we have DS graduation from Adelphi with his Master's tomorrow. Yes, on a Monday! It's going to be a long hall, but they're having it at Nassau Colliseum (very impersonal). But, this is the last graduation so we're going to enjoy it

No, sorry Sallie. I was a stay at home mom. I went back to school after DS started school. I graduated with my BS in 93' and MA in "96. I was one of those "late bloomers".

Hey everyone's been putting up with my "post off" with Helen.....we can certainly listen to some education, family party and other tidbits.......

So there I was, about to add a few posts last night at................2895....and then I get.....Board closed for updates..........UUrRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!! I give up......I can't win anything around here!!!

The boards were closed for an upgrade last night, and after that they had the usaul slow down, presume they back up tapes and files about 8.30am to 9am our time, as its always slow then or the connection fails.

Well I've just got in from dog training and Im shattered. But I've got to perk up as Dave and I are going to see Meatloaf tonight !

The boards were closed for an upgrade last night, and after that they had the usaul slow down, presume they back up tapes and files about 8.30am to 9am our time, as its always slow then or the connection fails.

I didn't even get a message that they were closed - all I got was a blank screen - it was so sad. . . I had to find something else to do
