Amy I hope the day goes quickly for you & is not to stressful!

Robyn I love the color, the bathroom is so much brighter now!

Janet I love the new bathroom. It's amazing how some color can turn a room around.

Hello, All! We had DSL issues all weekend so I am finally able to catch up properly! I love when I call for service and it tells me I can submit my repair request online! :headache:  AT&T is run by idiots. :sad2:
They BETTER fix it today or I will be irate. I renewed my virus protection online but I can't download it because the DSL only stays connected for about 3 minutes at a time, and the speed was so slow it was showing a 31 HOUR download time! :scared1:

Well the good news is we now have water, the bad news is they left a huge open hole across the street, and that yellow caution tape certainly isn't going to keep the kids away.

We have managed to get the laundry almost finished, and I cleaned the fish tank so today hasn't been a total loss.

Yay for water! I hope nobody gets hurt in the gaping hole! :scared:

Bernadette - Emma is soooo cute. I think using a contrasting color for the lining is a good idea, would the shirt be reversible if you do?

Cute shirt, Bernadette! Although it could be just a tad longer.

Anyone have any thoughts/opinions on Blizzard Beach vs Typhoon Lagoon?

We're doing Blizzard Beach. They have more attractions, and the shark thing wasn't that big of a draw for us. You get in and swim directly across - you can't stop and lollygag around the tank. And according to the guide books the line for the sharks builds at an alarming rate so it is the sort of thing you do once.

Hey Terry...

I was so excited....I called DCL today to ask them a question...and I also inquired about early dining....she said "you are on a waiting list" I asked her just to humor me and check....guess what...she was able to switch it!!! :yay::yay::yay:

Yay for early dining!

Evening everyone! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Tomorrow is Opening Day for the Cleveland Indians - vs the Chicago White Sox of course!
PLEASE pray for weather warmer than 50 degrees! :rotfl: And no rain.

I hope the weather cooperates for you!!

Prayers needed for my 24 year old cousin. She has some kind of cancer. My uncle doesn't know what kind. It is female related. Her younger sister died a couple of years ago from kidney failure. She had a kidney transplant and was better for many years but then had a relapse. She died when she was 19 or 20. So sad! My 24 year old cousin has a son. I sure hope she is able to fight whatever it is she has.

Good thoughts for your cousin and her family!

What's the tax rate on APs at WDW?

6.5% sales tax.

Thanks Vicki! I'm thinking of Blackbird for me and my dad, except sung by Sarah McLachlan. Cutting the cake to When I'm Sixty Four. Last dance Hello Goodbye and the wedding party and family (do they get introduced??) to All you Need is Love. (Too much Beatles??) :teeth: I think it'll be spaced out just fine though...it's not like it'll be one Beatles tune after another...

Sounds good!

Cute doggies, Karen.

What cute puppies! I am sure you are getting really excited!

I promise to try to catch up tomorrow. But I had to share my exciting news. I just got the email confirming we scored tickets to the Disney Channel Games Concert on our last night with the Jonas Bros and the Cheetah Girls. The kids are going to flip out when I tell them while we're at Disney. What a surprise!

Have fun!

Deb-your posts tire me out....sounds like you've gotten a lot accomplished with a few snags

Glad things are moving along, Deb! I hope the wall repairs are dry soon!

The older two are out the door, but the little guy decided on toast and eggs for breakfast. Maybe I won't get those couple of minutes right now after all.

I have a few errands (including grocery shopping) for after preschool today, and I have to pick up Miles and Laura early for an orthodontist appointment. Miles has to go, because I will be there after his school dismissal and have no one to watch him today. The appointment is actually only for Laura. Then there is pick up from track practice, synchro, and regular swim tonight. Long story short, maybe tomorrow, DDA! :) I'll see how quickly I can get the shopping done today, and I might be able to sneak in a few minutes. :thumbsup2

Take care, everyone! Have a great day! :goodvibes

Beth

Hi, Beth! :)

I did! It took 27 minutes but I got every single thing we wanted. And, within a 5 minute window, at the times we wanted! :yay:

YAY for ADRs!!

I think I have "Elizabeth Syndrome" I just can't stop changing things :rotfl2::)

Is THAT what we're calling it now? :lmao:

Love the new color, Janet! The guys did a great job.

Janet, the bathroom looks terrific!

Congratulations to Jake & Andrew!

Stay safe today, sorry to hear the a/c is still not working. Hopefully you will not be to miserable. it is suppose to get in the 60's here today, but it is raining & gloomy right now.

Marci, I hope you have a little fan in your office! I made DH turn the A/C on last night. It was 82 degrees in our house.
I am sorry Andrew was disappointed in his baseball games - hopefully he isn't too discouraged!

I know why your brain is mushy then, Amy. But better the brain than those cookies you spent so much time on! Hope the day is better than you have predicted.

Amy, good luck with the extra kiddo today!

Yippie Skippie:dance3:

You all were quite chatty while I was at odds with my cut-out cookies yesterday! I don't know if it was my mood, the dough, the butterfly cookie cutter, or what, but I had a very frustrating four hours of baking. Silly!

Beth, nice to see a couple posts from you!

Janet, your bathroom looks great!

Love the top and the pictures, Bernadette!

We're big Canon camera fans, Jen.

I'd say Blizzard Beach has more "thrill" waterslides Kristine, and lots of climbing!

Hope that AC gets fixed pronto, Marci. :wizard: that the severe weather stays away, too!

Jen, hope your return to work isn't too hectic today. The end is in sight! :goodvibes

Prayers for your cousin, Vicki.

Deb, your posts are exhausting.

Yay for ADRS, Elin!

Sending you and your mom strength, Elizabeth.

How's Joe, Robyn?

Fun song choices, Chanon.

I know I'm missing details. I have a mushy, baked-out brain. :upsidedow

This morning, I'm watching my niece Nevaeh, since my MIL (her guardian) has to have a colonoscopy. Nevaeh and Alyssa are only two-months apart, but they have drastic personality differences. Please send me some patience. :teeth:

Thanks for the great recap that I can "ditto", Amy! Your brain must not be too mushy. ;)

Hope your time today goes better than you're anticipating.

Janet- I love the bathroom! You guys did a great job!! I have been thinking of repainting the living room and have been thinking about those very colors.

I've been thinking the same thing, too! Seeing that color on someone else's walls now has me really wanting to pull the trigger! :goodvibes

Great job, Gary and boys!

31 hours!

Go for it! It is amazing how a coat of paint can make such a difference.

All the kudos does go to Gary & the boys, I did not touch one paint brush :rolleyes1

Great job, Gary and boys!

5 hours down, one hour to go. :teeth: Thanks for all the  though.

I love my niece, but after spending 5 hours with her yesterday, on top of the 6 hours today, I've sort of had my fill. Being around her does make me appreciate my own children more though. ;)

Amy, I'm borrowing your recap!:goodvibes Ditto everyone. I will send you patience to get through the day. :wizard: I'm sorry yesterday's baking was frustrating.

I managed to talk to Joe yesterday for about 3 minutes. He got another call so that ended our conversation. But he did email his mom and said that he is just very sore and can't sleep. One of his friends is coming to stay with him the next couple of days. He still has no recollection of the accident at all.

And I just want to thank Elizabeth, Lindsay and Marci for the generous offers of help. I appreciate it much more than I can express in words.

There is your silver lining! I love it when I can find those!
