Yeah...that's not pretty...but mine will look worse The good news for me is my son joined the army, so we are hoping to save a ton of money on our next trip and try the Shades of Green resort...something new and the whole family will get to go sitting and waiting for the next 8 days to go by

1 week til my vacation starts!!! I can hardly wait - its killing me... my husband asked me this morning why our scale was in the bedroom - "to weigh our suitcases" I replied - he said "why - so you can put more in it!"

last couple of things to do are sew the vest onto my husband's mnsshp costume & trying to get some early morning ressies for CP on the 27th - wish me luck think I may need it... lol

One week for me too. We start our vacay on next Friday. After kids get out of school we will head to Detroit and stay the night at a hotel we will leave our car at. Its cheaper to stay there the night then pay for parking at the airport. Kids will work on some homework to get a start on it, we will hit the hay about 10 and get up sat. at 7. we get breakfast at the hotel & then AIRPORT!!!!!!!!

SINGLE DIGITS!!! omg! 9 more sleeps until our trip down. havent felt like working so when "no pays" are offered i take them. only have worked 8 hours in two days...lol i think kiddo i having the same problem being at school right now. only one more week of work and school for us thank goodness.

as far as the "love bugs"....are they like gnats? or larger? any info please is great. my dd16 has a bug phobia and not sure how this is going to effect her.

I've only seen the lovebugs once, in Sept. 2007. They were about the size of a small house fly I think. They didn't bother me at all, they never landed on me, they don't bite or sting and from what I saw, didn't even really fly all that much. Too concentrated on the love They were a little hard to get used to at first, but I soon learned they were harmless. Just my experience with them!

We have ressies at CP on the 28th that I think we are going to cancel...if that helps you at all! Not sure what happens when someone cancels, does the spot automatically open up and someone can reserve it?

Aww - thanks Tinker but we need them for the 27th - just trying to join the crowd of Disers at Pop going to CP that early morning (around 8ish)... last minute so may not get so lucky... but its Disney so magic is everywhere

When you cancel the spot opens up - there is a board for September cancellations you can always post on and see if anyone wants them - then you can time the cancellation with them so they can grab them right after... http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2690023&page=60

This time next week I will be on the plane on my way to Disney! I hope this week goes by quickly. I dont have too much left to do, so I think I am good.
Julie are you checking reservations for CP on the website or calling each day? I had better luck calling last time I was trying to get ressie's when I went in '09. The website seemed to be slower in updating cancellations than the res center. Maybe you could try calling and see what they say.

8 more sleeps for me and DD16 one week from today I will be a mad woman getting everything packed and ready to go for our 4am morning drive to the airport. im sure im not going to be sleeping next saturday night...lol

might have to give myself a little help after dinner time.

its so hard being at work this past week and now next week my shift had time added to it on my last 2 days before i go. OMG!! ***? dont they realize im of no use right now and im going on vacation?

F'ing iron on transfer papers......let see I started with 4 shirts, 8 pieces of iron on transfer paper....ended up with one complete tshirt...the other 3 I used a different pack of iron on transfers which costed actually more but SUCKED!!!! uuuhhhhhhh I did not need that...well atleast my costume is the one shirt that worked......ahhhhhhhhhhhh
