Yeah, the Flyers barely squeaked in, so I’m not expecting a whole lot from them. But better believe I’ll be rooting for them for as long as they are in it.

The Jets travelled to Minnesota today but because of the blizzard we’re rerouted to Duluth. I read it’s about a three hour drive but with the weather it’s going to be closer to eight hours.

Apparently back in Winnipeg now.

Not sure why they didn't just charter a bus. I'm getting a 2.5 hour estimated drive time based on real time information.

As for your real time information...call up the front office and let them know what you’ve found. I’m sure they’ll take your advice based on your latest c & p.

It's about 3 hours between MSP and Duluth but not safe driving conditions right now. I've driven it many times. Best they came back.
Many highways are CLOSED which is why they didn't charter a bus.
Hoping Manitobans going down for the game are safe and not taking any unnecessary risks.

Who cares what cameras show. Seeing it and doing it are two different things.

If you called your trash talk "good hearted", I guess that's your opinion. Seemed awful nasty to me, not unlike a lot of your posts here...including the one quoted above. You seem like a very angry person, and I'm sorry to hear that. To me, stuff like this truly is just good fun. Don't mean this in a negative way whatsoever, but I don't really "care" about your opinion of the Eagles, Flyers, Patriots, Bruins or any other team just like I hope you don't really "care" about my opinion. Just having some fun. Root for the Bruins, go for it!! I'll root for the Flyers until they're out, because that's what I honestly expect for this year. Truthfully, my hope for the Flyers is that they'll do enough damage to the Penguins that they'll be wounded ducks when they get to the next round.

After seeing the road cams, I see why they didn't do it. But any kind of transportation in such conditions can be risky, including air travel.

Any update on the Winnepeg game? My friend from St. Paul said that they're saying that the runways are now open and the Jets (capital J) were able to land this morning.

Columbus fan here... I'm THRILLED that we got a win in Game 1. And my two favorite players both scored (one of them to send it to overtime, and the other to win.) It's the first time we've ever led a series. So far, we've never been out of Round 1. (Sometimes it's tough to be a CBJ fan.) Dare I hope that this is our year... to at least make it to Round 2? I'm going to game 3 on Tuesday when the series comes to Columbus.

I saw whole bunch of hurt last night. There were a couple of blindside hits that knocked off helmets. I wasn't aware that headhunting was legal in the NHL. Kane with a split lip. Labanc was sent to the locker room before coming back. Does the NHL review plays for punishment even if they weren't called on the ice? This one was actually called:

I don’t want to see anyone injured, but if the Flyers can take the Pens to 7 games, that would be fantastic. I loathe Crosby so any chance of him being out in the first round is great. Go Flyers!!
