About to pull the trigger with the Staples 10% back deal on my Amex SPG Biz Card. Pretty sure I saw on this board, people were having success buying Disney (or other gift cards) at Best Buy with a Visa Gift Card, right?

I was going to order the $300 one online from Staples. Would it be too much to order 3 at one time you think?

Is there a reason you want to buy VGC to use at Best Buy vs just buying the Disney (or other) GCs directly from Staples to trigger the offer? I’ve bought $800 of Disney & Amazon GCs from Staples so far using my SPG Biz card and received the 10% back almost immediately.

People are probably churning them for even more discounts. Those doing swag bucks can get a bonus equal to $5 off each $50 GC they purchase at Best Buy. Others may get discounted GCs at Sam’s Club. Basically the Visa GC are treated as cash by most retailers so people can double dip on discounts

12% back from swagbucks plus Best Buy rewards (another 2% for me). With the Amex staples offer I can get Disney gift cards at Best Buy for 24% off vs. 10% if I bought them from staples.

That’s a great deal! I’ve tried swagbucks but could never figure out how to rack up points like some people do. I guess this is one way!

Yes, the devaluation is why I was considering going ahead and maxing out. We actually have 4 cards we could do this on. I'm toying with the idea. Not all for Disney money, I need to see what else BB sells. If they have ebay and Amazon that would be great for us. But 10% off anything (buying visa GCs) is tempting. I would use for things aren't bonus categories on my other cards.

They are the same company as bed bath and beyond so they probably have similar CG selections. You can always call the closest store (though I hate talking to people on the phone)

My QR code didn’t scan at Best Buy. Kept beeping. But I think it was his issue. I gave it to him first. He didn’t scan it. Scanned the card first. Then did my total. I said no. You didn’t scan it. She he tried. Beeped. I told him to back out. He only deleted the card. Still beeped. Will have to try later.

Yeah, that's why I got excited when I saw the offer pop up But my closest one is like 20+ miles away so I've never been inside one (I just don't get out that way). I know some Bed Bath's don't carry 3rd party GC's so thought it might be a toss up whether Baby carried them at all. So thought I'd check with you folks if it's even worth a call

I've had luck with GC > GC at Bed Bath so my fall back is buying a Baby gift card online and then using that at a local Bed Bath.

Does anyone know if the 20%off amazon promo with Amex rewards is a one time use (as in I should spend $500 at once) or is it cumulative over multiple orders up to $500? I need sunscreen and don't want to waste the promo and miss $95 in savings to save $5 on this !@#$ expensive sunscreen (I have a sensitive skinned redhead and sunscreen is $25/bottle!)

How do you get them for 24% off? Isn't there an activation fee on the vgc?
