Your least favorite Disney sit-down restaurant

Coral Reef - loved the atmosphere, the food was fair at best. have read that it has improved, but not been back.
50's PrimeTime - been there twice, 1st time awesome server, great time, 2nd time sever not in character at all. Food was still good.
Planet Hollywood - great atmosphere, no reason to get the food.
Tonys - avoid anything with the red sauce.
Plaza - the burger was so greasy, could not eat the bottom bun as it was soaked in grease.

Never had a good experience with food or servers at Rain Forrest, not in Disney and not outside Disney. Great theme and execution but to much money for bad food. 4 chances at 3 locations but that ended the kid's dino love. Otherwise been to most of the top restaurants at Disney and had generally exceptional experiences at all. The Brown Derby needs better 'theming' and might be a bit over priced (from Disney values)

Thanks for the replies everyone. While some places may be a persons least favorite, that same restaurant could be another's favorite, I get it. Gives me some perspective though, as a few of the same places seemed to pop up a couple of times. Appreciate it.

Tony’s - so bad I have never been back. My spaghetti was seriously overcooked and served in a pool of tepid water - with a can of uncooked crushed tomatoes served over it...just awful!
Like dinner at my mom's house.

Seriously, I like Tony's because it reminds me of Olive Garden or Ledo's.....

We've tried Coral Reef, been very disappointed with the food, gave it another chance a few years later, and been very disappointed a second time. Given all of the excellent World Showcase restaurants I doubt that we will be going back anytime soon.

Oktoberfest Biergarten in Germany. I could get better food at some local places and I really have a distaste for buffets even before the virus showed up. This is not against the chefs or servers there as that was fantastic- it's just the buffet and the disjointed service before you even sit down that's the most annoying.

We waited for a long time past our reservation and it took forever. I guess we had a good experience in 1996 since that's why my family wanted to do it again.

Afterward we basically b-lined to the skyliner to get out before the fireworks started.

I ate at Coral Reef once, and never again. The food was absolutely terrible.
Kona cafe for lunch. The food was bleh and the service was not good.
Besides those two places everything else has been good!

I didn't like Planet Hollywood. The food wasn't good. It was loud. It was so dark that I couldn't see my food very well.

I’m an easy to please kind of guy when it comes to for and usually can find something good about any restaurant at Disney. But we will never go to chef mickeys again. Just not great and can get the characters at garden grill or tusker which are imo infinitely better

This will be an unpopular opinion but I have two signatures that I won't do again...Brown Derby and Narcoosees. I have done both multiple times and each time I have been extremely disappointed.

If this is open long enough you will probably get every Disney restaurant listed as worst by someone. On the positive side here are our favs: Yachtsmans, Boathouse, California Grille, Narcoossee’s, Splitsville 😀😀😀
We have a winner. Best and Worst questions here on the dining board are sort of pointless. One person's gourmet meal is another's pig slop. You don't know peoples' personal tastes when evaluating restaurants.

IMHO, folks put too much significance into WDW dining. Most of it is just mediocre at best. It can't be otherwise when they are feeding tens of thousands of people daily. There about 2 or 3 places where we try to get to when we go due to consistent quality or uniqueness of the food.

The only two places we would never go back to are Ohana and Crystal Palace for dinner. We thought the food was horrible at both. We had good service and enjoyed the atmosphere of both though. Ohana breakfast was great though.

Chef Mickeys is mentioned alot as not going back but we love it. The food at dinner isn't the greatest in the world, but its good. Brunch we really enjoyed. It is expensive for the food you get, but it's such a fun time!

Also see Coral Reef mentioned alot when these threads are brought up. We wouldn't really make a point to go back, but it wasn't horrible. We thought the food was good, but the menu was extremely limited. We were also a bit turned off by having to wait about a half hour then walk in to a pretty empty restaurant (it was an early lunch so maybe not enough staff on yet). We did like the atmosphere though.

Hollywood and Vine had a small selection of poor quality food when we went. It was $300 (including tax and tip) for four people. Never would have booked it if we hadn't been on the dining plan and even with that, it felt like a waste of four credits. Our server was quite good, so at least I was happy to give her a big tip.

We had horrendous service at Narcoosees. At least half an hour before our server acknowledged us. Another 20 minutes to come back and take our order. He disappeared for well over an hour after that. Someone else brought our food out, no refills on water, drinks, anything. Then he was sure to come back at the end of the meal and say what a pleasure it was to serve us. We'll never return.

Chef Mickey's. Pretty much any buffet, though. I just think they're gross. I've seen too many people grab the food with their hands to ever feel okay eating it 😂 Maybe I wouldn't mind it if the food was served family style.

Via Napoli. Loud, inconsistent service and prices not worthy of the quality and quantity of food served.
Agree with this! Was very disappointed in Nov and will not be back. Everything took forever and when the meal finally came out they forgot one. It was not just run back to the kitchen and grab it, it was an oh shoot we have to hurry up and make it. Food also was just meh but we did not get the pizza so maybe that makes a difference. I also couldn’t find the waitress when our meal was over to ask her to apply our dining credits (told her about the DP when we first sat down). I had to actually get up and look for her we had waited so long to settle the check. Nope won’t be back.

Just wondering which places to avoid in general. I know things change over time, but curious which is your least liked sit down place.

Thanks
We had horrendous service - by far the worst I've ever experienced anywhere at San Angel Inn years ago and we've never been back and can't imagine we ever will. The food was ok, but the service was SLOW, rude and just almost painful to deal with.

We also really don't like the food at Hollywood and Vine (breakfast was fine,) but lunch and dinner - blah. Now I will say we've been back here and there over the years only because we use it for the fantasmic package and the characters, but each time we try it we take off the next couple yrs because there's just really nothing there anyone likes.

We also probably won't return to Via Napoli. The pizza was pretty good, but it was very loud and the service was just slow and awkward (if I remember correctly they had 1 server for water and another main server,) but both were VERY slow.
