Are people not fans of the Tim Tracker?

I don't watch them, but as an old person I find it odd that people want to put so much of their lives on the internet for all to see. I guess they make a lot of money on it? Not worth it to me. Just like on this site, if you are going to put it out there, expect negative reactions too.

yep Tim makes about 450k a year right now.
he’s good I watch all his theme park videos but don’t watch his home ones. If your a good talker you do your time you can’t make a lot off of you tube. Many people fail thou

I watch them sometimes but as I said in an earlier post they are really wearing thin. Jenn is not a tv chef and although they love their baby very much there is no way on this earth I would ever allow my child to be exposed on the internet as they do.

I love the theme park videos. More so for construction updates on new attractions. Loved seeing updates on the Jurrasic Park coaster and when Iron Gwazi was being constructed. What amazes me is how so few people on this board don't seem to care are any attraction construction.

Not sure you can really know his income, although I suppose you can guesstimate based on view counts and whatnot.

It's a serious commitment to create and upload that many videos. Fact is, for every one that makes it to that level and beyond, many many many others do not. It's a typical "you can do it too" illusion, yielding all sorts of emotions from those who envy the few that really do succeed at it.

They are okay, and do offer some good tips, and insights, I prefer when you show me what your talking about... I like..well ... really prefer the visual... and less of the face time... Give me the gist of what we will be seeing, and then show me, adding in some talking point along the way...

So :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 in my opinion...

It seems they started out well but I think it’s become about money now and I find that gross. It seems they now put out content just together paid, it pushed me over the edge when he bought a $3300.00 sweater (in Florida) new house then since Covid it’s just been terrible content just to support the new lifestyle. That’s not what it’s about for me, sharing useful information about the place we all love isn’t supposed to be driven by greed.

The sweater was actually $1,900 I think - which is still a crazy amount. Their last live show titled answering your questions about Disney also showed that Tim doesn't know all that much about it. Jenn was able to answer more of the questions. I do agree that it is all about money at this point and any vlog with Disney in the title gets more views.

I think it's quite simple, if you don't like them and/or their content then don't watch, if you only like their vlogs from the parks then only watch them and not the more personal ones.

They're still very watchable for us and I really don't care whether someone buys a cheap sweater or an expensive one - they put the time in 5 days a week (at least) to provide content, and it's not just Disney, it's throughout the Orlando area - Universal, Sea World, Malls, shops, I-Drive and also Busch Gardens.

I believe that it is a full-time job for them now.

I think many of the popular vloggers get paid for their content, whether it's in freebies from Disney, or advertisments. I was astonished how many viewers send gift cards to vloggers, just to be mentioned in the video 'I am getting this coffee/t-shirt thanks to the ... family / thanks to Gary', or other gifts, sometimes expensive gifts. I just looked again one place has him at 450k another not nearly as much but he’s still raking it in. He’s the best in the business on Disney videos imo. I don’t watch his home blogs but many people do.
Whatever he makes I think we all can agree he has made it in you tube.

As with anything on youtube, we all have different tastes, just because you like or prefer to watch "other" vloggers doesn't mean that the people that like and watch TT are in any way ill informed or wrong - it's not one size fits all. Everyone should just enjoy what they like and ignore what they don't.

Thread questioning why people are negative toward the Trackers yields negative comments about the Trackers. I swear I didn’t see that coming. :sad2:
Now see, I've been reading along and this is what gets me worked up. In order for someone to explain why a lot of people don't like something or someone, you obviously have to describe the negative attributes of that something or someone. It's just a fact of life. Otherwise we would have heard crickets chirping because everyone would've been afraid to say what they felt. I'm sorry but everyone is entitled to their opinion whether it be negative or not. What we NEED to do rather than trying to make everyone seem horrible for stating how they feel and moving on, is let things go. We've lost the ability to hear someone's thought, take in what was said and simply move the heck on without shaming them for feeling the way they do! It's not a crime to not like things but yet people are bashed and labeled constantly as being negative. Well I'm sorry but if we take a good look around us...there's a LOT of stuff not to like right along with the good and I'm one of those people that's going to tell it like it is. I like what I like and hate what I hate and that's the way it is.
