The Official VILLAS at DISNEYLAND HOTEL (Discovery Tower) Owners and Fans Info Thread

My opinion, the scent of sophistication, undertone of modernity from the midcentury, and a whiff of old-fashioned elegance (from the 50s of course). That’s just my opinion…

Smells like H2O skin lotion honestly:View attachment 800235😛
Room 146? Duo on the first floor with view facing Walnut street? I’m scared to know what your window view look like. I’m assuming it’s the walkway to the grills and the wall.

OMG right? But i prefer the wall, avant garde path lights, and bbq to the orher higher floor standard views. And the convenience to the pool and gym was a pleasure! Honestly “room rquest worthy”!

Guys and @ehh, just saw countless DVC member candidates with hearts floating around their heads 🥰 talking with DVC guides this past weekend. Heard one man talking with a friend as they walked through the lobby, “…where do I send the check?!”.

Excited to see weekly sales report!

Question about the accessible bathrooms. I know that some of the wheelchair deluxe studios have tubs in them, but the accessible duo studios mention that they have a roll-in shower. Has anybody stayed in one of these yet and has pictures or can describe the shower? I'm assuming(?) it does not have a swinging door and obviously would have no lip to step over like the normal showers in the duos. Thanks.

We had a staycation for DW's birthday a few weeks ago, and had day guests show up in a total of 5 different cars and valet park over three days for lunches, dinners, a character breakfast at Storytellers, etc. Got charged for exactly one night of valet parking for one car, even though it was there for two.

We’ve stayed at VGC so many times, and this was the first time this happened. When I called for the refund, they said that whoever checked us in made the wrong selection, so it seems like we just got unlucky.

Yeah, unlike so many other things Disney, they seem to usually err on the side of not changing when it comes to DVC parking at VGC.

Please share room number when you check out. Would love to know which rooms to avoid!
Room number is 340. It’s adjacent to another building with vents, HVAC, something causing a loud whirling noise at all times. The beds in the room are located right next to the window which is the perfect spot to hear the noise as loudly as possible.

Just got the latest Disney Files magazine in the mail today and reading this on page 7..."An elegant, mosaic-style tile mural is among the masterful touches in the primary bathroom of Fantasia inspired One-and Two-Bedroom Villas. (Some One- and Two- Bedroom Villas celebrate Fantasia, while others honor The Princess and the Frog.)"

So are there Fantasia one bedrooms then? Or are they just misinformed? Although I just found it on the DVC site also...

Has anyone stayed in a Fantasia themed one bedroom?

Sounds like they need to designate them as hearing impaired deluxe villas. Problem solved for you DVC!
