4/13 EDIT:

This is how your post should look :flower3:

Thursday, October 18th / DM and I

Thank you for adding your FP selections. Your plan has been on my mind since you first posted it mainly because all the Characters arrive at the same time and I thought @Cluelyss wrote FP's end at 6pm? I'm definitely going to need @Cluelyss and @OhioStateBuckeye to chime in so let's begin...

3:30-4:10 MK bypass for Wristbands, Treat Bags, Map
4:15-4:35 7DMT FP - Schedule it for 3:30-4:30
4:45-5:05 Haunted Mansion FP - Schedule it for 4:30-5:30
5:05-5:15 You could add a Magic Shot at Haunted Mansion
5:20-5:40 Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh FP - Schedule it for 5:30-6:00
6:00-7:10 Pooh & Gang
7:15-7:55 Minnie Mouse or Donald & Daisy - Jump in the shortest line.
8:00-8:50 Minnie Mouse or Donald & Daisy
8:55-9:30 Trick or Treat - Lines will be long so do the Bonus Locations
9:30-10:30 HalloWishes 10:15 - Main Street between Casey's & Ice Cream Parlor
10:30-11:00 Mickey Mouse
11:05-11:15 Main Street Fire Station - Pick up Free Sorcerer of the Magic Kingdom Card
11:20-Boo to You Parade 11:15 - Even though the parade starts at 11:15pm it takes about 40 minutes to reach Main Street.

Let's see what the others have to say as there are a few more ways to plan this evening. ;)

Last year when MVMCP started at 6, FPs ended at 6. But they did offer a 5:30-6:00 slot IIRC, so the above should still work.

Party magic shots won’t start until 7, so no sense doing a HM MS at 5?

I think 5:45 is too early to line up for Pooh. I’d plan for 6 tops, but by 6:15.

I’d also recommend picking up your SOTMK card when you enter, as I know they close the firehouse early, I just can’t remember how early? I’m thinking 11?

Lastly, I’d suggest Mickey right after the parade if watching from the end of Main Street. Use the time between the fireworks and parade for a ride, another character or some trick or treating!

Ok am going to give this a try:

Sept 25 3 adults
Self, nephew, his wife

3:30-4:30 bypass for photos, map, bags, SotMK card
4:40-5:00 FP Buzz
5:05-5:40. FP Jungle Cruise
5:50-6:20 DIS meet at HM
6:30-7:15 Ducks
Tag Team: You have one hour/Line up for Popcorn bucket at 6:45 if interested, lines did form. If did not get on Sunday
7:20-8:00 burger at Cosmic Rays mobile order
8:05-8:25 Rides
8:30-8:45 Cadaver Dans
8:45-9:30 ToT and Rides
9:40-10:30 HalloWishes
10:50-11:45 BTY Parade in Frontierland
11:45-12:20 Hocus Pocus
12:30 Headless Horseman Magic Shot

Is this doable? The other option I was considering, is having the Nephew and wife get in line for 7Dwarves and go join them after I get the Pooh shot

Nephew and wife

Wow! You did an excellent job! Well done!

Tuesday, Sept 25 / DH, DW, DN, DN - Is there four people in your party?

3:30-4:15 bypass for photos, map, bags
4:15-4:40 FP
4:40-5:10 FP HM hopefully
5:10-5:30 HM dessert snack, HM magic shot
5:30-6 FP
6–7:15 Pooh and gang
7:15-8 Donald/Daisy
8-8:35 Hocus pocus
8:35-9:15 Trick or treating (ToT), magic shots, shopping
9:15 -9:45 parade in Frontierland - Last year the Parade started at 9:15 so you may want to arrive earlier?
9:45-10:15 ToT or ride as move to hub - Are you moving to the hub to view fireworks, might want to arrive a bit earlier?
10:15-10:30 fireworks
These M&G's may work but if the party "feels" crowded or sold out you may have to switch them? Personally I would switch them. Right after Mickey do the Magic Shot you'll be going in the same direction which is toward the exit.
10:30- 11 Mickey
11-12 7 Dwarves
12 headless horseman shot

I have added your itinerary to the MAIN page.

Please feel free to chime in. I'm thinking this party has the potential to be a busy one.

I don't think you are allowing yourself enough time. I'd be surprised if you could meet Daisy/Donald in 45 minutes. Even if you could you'd miss the beginning of the Hocus Pocus show since it's about a 10 minute walk.

You also might have trouble getting to Mickey after the fireworks end as people do leave after the fireworks.

I think having people save a spot in the 7 Dwarves line would work the best. If you don't do that I can't see you getting the Pooh characters and Donald/Daisy.

I also always recommend the midnight Hocus Pocus as it doesn't take up any party time and is bonus.

You might need to have some people save spots for the parade. Even in Frontierland it fills up somewhat quickly for the first parade. If you don't mind about being in the front row I suppose you could gamble and show up later.

But I mean...really...planning this far out is kind of a gamble. We don't know times for anything for certain. They have changed around the parade and fireworks times a bit.

Gravediggers

Update: 10/09/18 - Gravediggers Meet & Greet starts at 7pm.
They do NOT talk or sign autographs. They meet at the Gazebo.

It has been reported they took a break between 8:15-8:30. Post #7155
We did see them going for a break about 15 minutes before the second parade began. Post #7383 - Just noting the second parade started at 11:15.
They Took a break during Fireworks. Post #6822 - Just noting fireworks started at 10:15
And another between 10:45-11pm. Post #7383 Thanks @Disneylover99 :thumbsup2
Gravediggers were there until right before parade and then crept back out once the parade left Frontierland. Post #7445

The grave diggers are next to the water, across from the Shooting Arcade / Diamond Horseshoe. Mention of across from Country Bears was last year Post #6648

On the map below the red circle is where the Grave Diggers were. Was the Pumpkin Blub located at the blue circle? Anyone?

3 adults
I figured some of the ToT and shopping time would be used to get in place for the parade
30 mins before fireworks is not enough time? Eek!
So you are saying go to the Dwarves at 10:30 then Mickey?

I don't think you are allowing yourself enough time. I'd be surprised if you could meet Daisy/Donald in 45 minutes. Even if you could you'd miss the beginning of the Hocus Pocus show since it's about a 10 minute walk.

I was going to do the Hocus Pocus at 12 but I want to get Mickey and the headless horseman shot in. If anything, I would give up the Dwarves because I will get them at the MVMCP

What if I totally rearranged the last half of schedule to this:

7:15-8:15 Donald/Daisy
8:15-9:15 Trick or treating (ToT), magic shots, shopping
9:15 -10 Mickey
10-10:15 headless horseman shot
10:15-10:30 fireworks
10:30- 11 ToT and party in tommorrowland
11- 11:40 parade
11:40-12 ride
12 Hocus Pocus

Thank you for your additional input! I really appreciate all of the work you and @FoxC63 are doing to assist me and others.

Is it just gonna be closed for the parties? That’s our favorite ride at mk

I'm still looking into it. Last year Splash Mountain was closed but early party goers were able to ride it before the ride shut down for refurbishment.

Sorcerer of the Magic Kingdom Card 2018

upload_2018-7-30_18-41-18.png

Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Ticketed Event: 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM

2018: FYI, for folks entering with party tix before 4 (i.e., DVC), they are giving out cards in front of the fire station. We entered at 3:30 and had the card by 3:45. Post #6088

We went inside the firehouse for the card at 11:20pm. There was no one standing outside. Friday, August 31, 2018: Post #7955

IF you forget to pick up your card: "We went to get ours the day after as we totally forgot to get them with all the mayhem! Guest Relations were gracious enough to look at my magic band and corroborate the ticket and gave us 1 from out of the back." Post #6920

What is it?
It's an interactive game allowing you to explore the Magic Kingdom, casting spells with your cards and defeating villains and more!

You are allowed to pick up one pack of cards per person, per day at the Main Street Fire Station. I've posted links on how to play this game below. Guests can exchange cards with other guests at Tortuga Tavern. Fair warning, keep your cards in a binder to protect them from damage and theft. Keep your eye on your binder when trading. They can also be traded on the DIS but at your own risk.

WDW Link: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/attractions/magic-kingdom/sorcerers/

WDW Prep How to Play: https://wdwprepschool.com/how-sorcerers-of-the-magic-kingdom-works/

When to pick up & where: CM's release the Exclusive MNSSHP card at 4pm at the Fire Station on Main Street. You must have your party wristband on and a CM will mark the wb with a black magic marker. One per party wristband no exceptions.

upload_2018-5-3_12-57-38.png

Here are a few posts from 2017 in case the doors are closed later in the night:
"At the 10/9 party, we got our Halloween Sorcerer's cards after midnight when we were leaving..I think we were there around 12:15AM. The doors were shut, but there were 3 cast members standing outside the fire house with cards in their hands to pass out and sharpies to mark your band to say you got 1." Post #8714 and Post #8723

Though I have personally never seen this I will add last year we got ours from Guest Services at City Hall at 12:30am on 10/31/2017.

And a few years back, on a regular park day at MK we brought our "unmarked" party wristbands to the Main Street Firehouse and was given the SotMK card then they marked our bands with a black magic marker.

Binders and Sleeves: We use Monster Binder - 4 Pocket Trading Card Album - Matte White (Anti-theft Pockets Hold 160+) along with KMC Full Size Hyper Matte Sleeves (80-Pack), White, Standard Size purchased from Amazon. Both products can be found elsewhere by google search. We place the SotMK cards in the sleeves then place the cards into the binder. Though Disney does make their own carry along binder it has not been well received by serious players.
