I have no idea why, but this suddenly caused "The Battle of New Orleans" to pop into my head
I just looked up the lyrics and its a little long, but here is a snippet which is probably enough. (Sorry in advance to Andrew and any other Brits reading along!)
Well, in eighteen and fourteen we took a little trip
along with Colonel Jackson down the mighty Mississip.
We took a little bacon and we took a little beans,

We fired our guns and the British kept a'comin.
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago.

I ran them through the wash this morning and they have been drying for HOURS now. I have a pair of tennis shoes in with them to help fluff them up (Oops, used the "fluff" word!) so I have been listening to them bang, bang, bang as the dryer rotates. HURRY UP and DRY!
