We have a Power Airfryer that my husband bought a couple of years ago for approx. $100. I was skeptical, but it was a great purchase. We use it more than any other kitchen gadget and we're still finding new ways to use it. It's wonderful to warm up leftovers (especially from a restaurant) and almost any frozen food items. The kids use it for pizza rolls, chicken nuggets or strips, or any snacky frozen food. I love it for making our own chicken strips or chick-fil-a copycat sandwiches from fresh chicken. Fried (fresh) green beans are really good... and I'm going to try corn-on-the cob soon (heard it's really good) and homemade jalapeno poppers. Frozen french fries are a quick dump in the basket and hitting a couple of buttons. About halfway through cooking times I'll give the basket a shake or flip things as needed. Cleaning isn't hard... I usually let the basket soak in the drawer with some water and dawn and it cleans up pretty easy.
Should you buy it for your daughter? Yes. When my son moves out, I plan to give him one.
