Pumpkin spice only belongs in pie and candles and peanut butter only belongs on sandwiches.

peanut butter only belongs on sandwiches.
.....then how do I get the kids to eat ants?

Standard nutrient analysis methods were used to determine the nutritional value. The insect has between 39.79 to 44.64% protein and about 42.07 to 49.77% fat content depending on the body part. The insect is also rich in iron, zinc, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus. From the fatty acid profile, the edible insects recorded high content of Palmitic, Oleic and Linoleic acids. No Linolenic acid was found in the samples analysed. The elderly Luos of Kenya collect and consume the black ants to manage several body ailments probably due to the essential nutrients found in the insect. C. vidua Smith is fairly similar to Polyrhachis vicina Roger in China which has been processed and commercialised as medicinal to manage several chronic diseases. Further research is needed to highlight the potential medicinal value of C. vidua Smith in Kenya and to save the insect from total disappearance.
The edible insects of the Lake Victoria region which provided food and medicine, have suffered the effects of mismanaged environment. Our case study of Carebara vidua Smith (black ant) which is an endangered insect currently threatened with extinction due to human's activities, have provided unique source of protein and medicinal value. C. vidua is an endangered species of Heminoptera. This paper discusses the nutritional value and medicinal potential of the black ant. It is one of the most sought after edible insects because of its nutritional and medicinal value.

Starbuck's is overrated.

When I buy a hoagie with everything on it, I get it with extra mayo and *not* oil. I also wrap it up tightly in plastic wrap and eat it the next day when it's compressed together and the roll is wet. Is that too gross?

If scrambled eggs aren't wet, they aren't worth eating...

And if fried eggs don't have the yoke nicely spilling out when you break into that section, they are also not worth eating...

And there's no amount of ketchup in the world that can save a scrambled egg that dries out and starts separating...

Mayonnaise is super nasty.
Liver mush is super delicious, though it must be fried -- with mustard.
Potato soup is the best soup, and it should not be adultrated with bacon and cheddar cheese.
Hot dogs are good, but I stay away from the all-beef type.
Pepsi is from the devil, and Sprite is only from his right-hand dude Belzebub.
Mint is not good -- unless it is in a Girl Scout Thin Mint.
Hardees food smells bad.
Seafood is delicious -- except for catfish, which tastes fatty.
How can anyone drink something that smells as bad as beer?

Mushrooms are fungus and therefore should not be food.
Mickey waffles don't actually taste good.

I love raw fish and lamb.

When I'm in Peru, Alpaca is a must eat.

I also love fermented foods. And I love herring.

What is a sausage barn and what is a bacon barm? How is one better than the other??

FWIW, I'll explain, because this is actually kind of a running regional controversy in the UK (and absolutely incomprehensible outside of it, which the OP apparently does not know.)

To start with, there is a typo; it's supposed to be "barm" both times. The assertion, essentially, is that a sausage sandwich is better than a bacon sandwich, because a barm is a soft bread roll (it's a north of England name for it, usually from the areas around Liverpool or Manchester. Around Leeds the term can depend a lot on whether you're from an Irish family, because in Ireland, barm is something else entirely; a kind of raisin quickbread.) Also commonly referred to as a bap or a buttie, and normally a wee bit smaller than a Kaiser roll.

To add another layer of confusion for Americans, the bacon in this sort of sandwich is not streaky bacon (what Americans most commonly know as bacon), but a leaner flat-sliced type that is closer to what is known here as Canadian Bacon. In addition, either sandwich is traditionally served with a condiment that most Americans are unfamiliar with, known as Brown sauce. (The most popular brands in the UK are HP and Daddie's Favourite) The closest American thing to brown sauce is probably A1 Sauce, but brown sauce is thicker, spicier and a bit sweeter, and always contains tamarind as one of the ingredients.

This type of sandwich has been popular for donkey's years in the north of England as breakfast food or as a workingman's or packed school lunch. If the sausage in the sausage version is English sausage, then the bacon is usually MUCH better, because English sausage is rather flavourless and contains a LOT of cereal fillers. BTW, the sandwich normally consists of bread, meat and sauce, with maybe a smear of butter to keep it from going soggy; no cheese, and definitely no lettuce and/or tomato.
