Hmmm, just looking back at photos of me at W and D in 2017 and I see that I was in Corral C for the Half Marathon. I was WAY faster back then! Hope I still get put in C.... I am walking this time. My back and knees are not fans of me running.

Middle of the pack is fine with me! Gives me enough buffer to take my character selfies and be on my merry way before the sweepers come along, all going well.

How easy is it to get into an earlier corral? I last ran W&D in 2017 so I can't remember how many corrals there are. Are there many? Is it first come, first served, or how do you get into a "faster" corral? In 2017 I had proof of time, but I don't this time. I am currently about 12.5/13 minutes...

The 16 minutes per mile. Does that timer only start once the last wave has left the last corral? I want to have enough time to enjoy taking photos, meeting the characters etc. Obviously I'll try and get to a corral leaving earlier than the last one if that's the case. I'm currently walking...

I've booked just the 10 miler, rather than the Challenge. I hope I dont regret it. One of the deciding factors was that the 5k sold out before I got to it, and my kids had wanted (=agreed) to run that with me. It's getting very close now to Wine and Dine, and I really don't think the US borders will reopen to non-US citizens travelling from Europe until 2022, or at least very late 2021.
