I saw this as well and wanted to report that I had it applied to my early August BWI CL reservation as it was a better deal than the Disney+ discount. The AP discount was 30% versus 25% for Disney+.

How necessary is it for everyone in a group to have their own MDE/Play app, assuming a child and parent will choose the same "path" and do the missions in tandem? Can one MDE/device simply be used?

The #######.# is your Club ID (different than member #). It was assigned to you when you got your first contract and another one for another contract. Your Club ID most likely ends in ".1" and if you have a spouse on the contract, theirs would be ".2".
