    Favourite Disney Springs dinner spot?

Boathouse is our favorite for a quality meal. If you're looking more for a fun/lively experience, Raglan Road is always a favorite.

Best table service restaurants for anniversary - not V&A

I've found many of the reviews to be fictitious reviews by non-diners and driven by the mainstream media coverage of the sticker shock associated with the new prices. Anyway, V&A would be our #1, followed by: Shula's Citrico's California Grill Flying Fish Narcoossee's Yachtsman ^ in that...

Food poisoning at Chef Mickey's dinner?

People have always claimed to get food poisoning at X restaurant when in reality, as others have mentioned, 99.9% of the time it's not food poisoning. People touch 2938238 surfaces all day long in one of the busiest recreational places in the world and act as if they could never have norovirus...

    low carb treats at WDW

The brine is primarily salt, hence why they taste more like ham than turkey. The amount of brown sugar they use isn't going to soak into the meat to become a carb-heavy meal.

    Favorite specialty cocktail

Frozen avocado margarita with jalapeno at La Cava del Tequila in Mexico pavillion.

    Whispering Canyon vs. Artist Point

It depends on the experience you're looking to have. Artist Point was one of our signatures for a while until it's last few years before the storybook changeover. The food experience there is more in line with fine dining. Whereas Whispering Canyon is a fun, loud theme environment and BBQ.

    Food poisoning while at Disney?

It's not about them not wanting it to be known, it's about the fact that root cause analysis for a business of their magnitude requires an expansive investigation to accurately identify a source.

    Food poisoning while at Disney?

Not possible, you must've been at Biergarten the same night as OP. Did you get your free villa at the Grand Floridian and $500 in gift cards for the staff's ill-will?

    Food poisoning while at Disney?

Monday morning quarterbacking? The TL;DR version of your original comment is that your child got sick and you blamed Disney's buffet without a shred of evidence or reason to suspect them besides eating there, and you want compensation from Disney. Is that not accurate? You probably would have...

    Victoria and Alberts Recent Trip

I'm not basing it off of a mere accolade, I've been to the above and several others throughout the nation and while it's hard to imagine V&A being inferior in ways, they are to many of the 3* restaurants. Which is what most of the dining reviews from actual food critics and restaurant columnists...

MAGIC KINGDOM OR MK RESORT CHARACTER BREAKFASTS?

Chef Mickey's would be the next best option at the Contemporary. 1900 Park Fare was one of our favorites, but has yet to return.

    Food poisoning while at Disney?

I don't think anyone thinks you're lying. I believe most people are just of the outlook that you're in a theme park with tens of thousands of people and engaging in mass transit to and throughout the parks whether it be bus, monorail, boat, etc. (+ airplane to Florida?) Kids are inherently...

    Victoria and Alberts Recent Trip

We've always had a perfect experience at V&A and I'm still on the prowl to land a chef's table reservation. However, as much as I love V&A, the % price jump on the menu is ridiculous given the menu and they have no business being priced against or above the 3 Michelin star restaurants throughout...

    Food poisoning while at Disney?

They're not any more or less safe than any other buffet. Disney isn't going to compensate anything because there's no way to accurately place blame upon the buffet and with norovirus numbers up, it's most likely another sick guest. You're in line queues and busy retail lines/stores with...

where do you recommend in disney springs?

Boathouse is our favorite for the food. If looking for a more 'fun' atmosphere, I think your only dining option there is Raglan Road

Carousel Coffee opens at the Boardwalk

The menu items sound interesting, it's a shame that Disney is still committed to that awful Joffrey's swill.

    Rainforest Cafe or Homecomin

Homecoming. We have a RFC here in NJ and in terms of food, you're getting TGI Fridays level at best. The only thing worthwhile is the environment if you have young kids who want a 'cool' different experience. Food? Meh.

Bank first vs book first? Does it matter?

Hey everyone, I'm completely new to DVC and made our purchase just last month. Our use-year was set back to June that way I'd be able to bank points from the current 2022 year. I split our purchase into two smaller contracts and I'm looking to book our first reservation next October. What is...

Help figuring out STK Steakhouse ADR

They don't accept reservations at 60+ days out. If you check their OpenTable/Resy pages, they only have dates opened until 2/13. You should be able to book 2/15 in 2 days, 2/18 in 5 days, etc.
